Yup... the weekend is supposed to be nice though, getting new tires put on Sunday and probably ride for as long as the sun is out...
Might be my last ride for the season!

Anyone going for a ride today or Sunday? I'm not sure when I am available do to family obligations, but I will check back from time to time to see if I can hook up with anyone.

Getting a deal on tire change? I need a new back tire soon.

Dave (Recidivist) on this forum is the go to guy, his place is in Whitby, so it's just around the corner from us.
I could probably just get a rear but I'm changing both... I want to try something a little sticky!

Thanks.

I won't mind trying a sticky either, but they'll wear out much quicker, so I've heard.

RodneyBR , I'm probably going out around 2pm today, I can't go this evening.

I expect to be able to go out again Sunday noonish/early afternoon.

I might be able to do evening.

BTO20R is a sport touring tire. Based on your riding I would just stick with another ST tire. Maybe a Road 2 or a Angel ST if they come in your size.

Ordered my Road 2's from Pete's and it came the next day. No problems. Had them installed at Pickering Motorsports, $30 per wheel, off the bike, but there are a few places around that will do tires. Kneedragger88 does it as well.

EDIT: Pickering Motorsports is up at Brock Rd. / Taunton.

Cool, I'll let you know about when I'm going out.

I actually bought my 650R from Pickering Motorsports... $30 a wheel seems very reasonable and maybe I should just get the tire from there as well :) I'll have to make a few calls.

$30 per wheel seems to be the standard everyone charges. I would definitely check the price for the actual rubber. http://www1.petes-superbike.com/ is tough to beat. Maybe PM will give you a deal based on buying and installing there.

I'm out in Brampton at 4:30; not likely getting back until 6:30, so after that. Otherwise Sunday or Sunday night.
