Are you guys telling me that with a lockdown they are going to give me a hard time if cops stop me in Huntsville and find out I'm from Toronto? That sounds absurd.
That tactic won't work when their computer screen says where you live.No need to speak a word during a traffic stop.
Hand over your DL, proof of ins. and registration.
Don't answer questions.
It's also printed on your license. Although you could be riding out the shutdown at your cottage and nothing says that address. I don't know if cottage visits are still theoretically limited to day trips or more than 72 hours. That tactic won't work when their computer screen says where you live.

Trails have easy to check choke-points. Doubt it'll be an issue.Just like they did with snowmobiles. The police may stop riders and give $800 fine for not being in your health district.

Buddy don't believe these idiot politicians, all these lockdowns are not even noticeable, I still can't eat inside a restaurant or cut my hair but I can still rub elbows with 50 people at CostCo, regardless if its yellow or grey or red zone.I don’t think they are locking up they are just locking down, really don’t know what that means other than it’s business as usual like the last yr
Pretty sure we were in the category where we could visit a secondary property for less than a 24hr period, or more than X days. Been a while since I read it, but when we got into the hard lockdown I checked the wording on the Provincial guideline/law/whatever and it was clear about secondary properties being allowed to be visited. It's also printed on your license. There is no Stay at Home order in this new lockdown, so go out and ride, it's essential anyway! Here we go again.
Last year I rode over xx,xxx km. There was less traffic and seemingly little law enforcement.
Snowmobile season was much more closely enforced. One could only ride in their own district and tickets for trailering a sled out of your district and trespassing tickets issued when the trails were closed became a new phenomena.
Just wondering if they are going clamp down on motorcycle activities this time around?
Happy Apexes.
Yeah well dealing with that for a whole year now, I've figure out some ways.....Only problem with the lockdowns when riding distance is the lack of open washrooms.

I didnt read the revised version of the shutdown if any but the last one we had was a stay at home order and only go out for essentials. This time around the whole province is shutdown, similar to grey zone lockdown of the framework and there is no restriction on travels or boundaries.
There are 2 rides planned for the week-end (Sat, Sun) with about 40 people in each group.
This is just as maddening and frustrating now as it was a year ago.So I am part of a riding group on Meetup, and it looks like they are not limiting people for gatherings. There are 2 rides planned for the week-end (Sat, Sun) with about 40 people in each group. Even before the announced lockdown I would believe this to be too much, and they still haven't adjusted anything since the announcement. I find this just dumb.
