Alternate choice to a VFR

Grats on the new bike! Always liked those Viffers....pics?

Thanks!

I rode the "new" one a bit yesterday and I like the power delivery much better than the 6th gen. Seat is also more comfortable and it makes a much nicer sound. (both from the Gear Driven Cams and the exhaust)

..congrats !
last of the gear driven cams (love the whine) , and what many consider the best generation of the vfr ever !

Quite arguable that statement is in my opinion. lol The 4th gen with lower weight, smooth as butter Carbs, NACA ducts, and non linked brakes might be better to some.

good points all....im holding out for a 8th gen ...they are down to 9999 now at sturgess. they brought back some of the 4th gen coolness ( NACA ducts , de-linked brakes, no more side mounted rads ) but i dont think we'll ever see gear driven cams or carbs on a streetbike again :0(
hope youre able to score another 4th gen someday !

The 8th gen really is quite nice and I was considering it.
...and yeah it looks like the 5th and 8th gen have little NACA ducts but not like those huge black ones on the side of the 4th gen. lol

Definitely a huge plus for the 8th gen not having those side mounted rads. Both the 5th and 6th gen get quite warm.

I really do miss my 4th gen. I looked at 2 this past week and both weren't in very good shape. (no offense to the owners)
