I'm looking at getting an slip on exhaust for my gsxr-600.
Currently looking at the M4 GP mount.

Curious to know what you all think the best exhaust ON a gixxer is from your experience.
Do you guys prefer high mount or a gp mount? Any positives/negatives to any of them?

Any sound clips any of you have would be pretty helpful.
Thanks.

A buddy has one on a ZX6....ear bleeding loud. Was easily the loudest bike in the entire SOAR paddock

i have the M4 on my 2010 GSXR 750 and it is very quiet but it has a nice sound and it looks good as well - I am a big fan of M4

Omnivore if it was loud is because the took the insert out I believe

I have the M4 GP on my 2011 750 and am very satisfied with it. Decent tone and not much louder than stock if you retain the baffle and catalyst.

I had a GP style exhaust on a 2007 750 and hated it. To throaty and loud for me. Prefer the sound of a regular 14inch can, or 18" on older models.

Can you get me a shot of your bike from the back? Wanna see if it looks empty without the high mount...

Very well could be...It is an 09 636 ex-AMA bike making 142 hp......If uncorking the pipe helps power, then definitely this bike would be uncorked. It's ridiculous as far as 600's go.

I'm going to order a m4 for my new bike. Love the look. Leave the insert in it and it's not too loud at all. If you're worried then get a r77 slip on from yoshi. Full size, carbon finish and they sound good

You're getting the m4 gp or high mount?

There's what it looks like on your bike. I'm going to try the gp. If I don't like it or get hassled by cops I'll go yoshi

Sent from my commodore 64 on dial up

Looks good. I really like the sound of it and the look.
The only thing that bothers me is that it doesnt look as clean as a high mount. Look at the right rear passenger foot peg hanging there.

Have m4 gp on my 2011 zx6r love it... definately what i expected and hoped for...People say its loud but hey what do you expect from a gp style slip on.
