Accident Advice

is this after all the insurance specialist look at and you, and then tell you there is nothing wrong , but you still have pain from your wreck.

then you so happen to go and get check by another doctor that says you should not be going back to work cause you still have problems

So you're telling me that an 'insurance specialist' overrode a doctors recommendation? There is a lot more to this story than you're letting on.

At the end of the day I'm not going to try and explain to you why this doesn't make a bit of sense. I was just pointing out to OP that there are a lot of people guessing at things when the info that he needs can be obtained by calling his insurer.

Whenever I call my agent to ask them about my policy, it feels like if I'm there to cheat them. They treat me like a criminal. I later found out my policy covers me for roadside towing. They pay 80% I think (can't remember the exact figure). For 8yrs I didn't know this until recently <<shakes head>>

Coupled with that, when someone hit me from the back, I called my agent and one of his secretaries were bold enough to tell me they can't do anything about it. Even though they finally did, I was really upset on what she had told me.

Needless to say, I am wondering if I can get another agent with Statefarm or if I really find a cheaper alternative, I'll be out.

However, I'm sure Abdadjuster might have good intentions.

That sounds like you might have a careless agent. I always used to explain all of the coverages and why I was asking for peices of info so that clients didn't feel like I was trying to catch them in something.
At my company we work on the basis that we try to find coverages that will help a client in the event of a claim, and we never look to deny first. I've bent rules to get a client coverage but never once have I denied something that might be covered. I wouldn't be able to work the other way.

not at all, what i'm saying is the insurance doctor don't see it the same as your family doctor. and thanks but you don't need to0 explain to me the way insurance company's will to try to screw a person every chance they get if they can get a way with it

You know what man, you're right. You caught us. We're all extensively trained on how to screw clients over. We have a whole department dedicated to figuring out how much we've screwed our clients out of because we all get kickbacks based on how much money we don't pay out. That's how I was able to afford my sweet sweet 2002 VW. We're all just ballin'!!!!
I'm going to have to bring this up at the next stonecutters meeting.

I appreciate the vote of confidence.

I did my best to point the OP in the right direction to get the paperwork started. I advised him which forms he could get started on and which ones to hang onto for later. I showed him where he could easily obtain the forms necessary to get the ball rolling.
I didn't ask anything specific about his claim. It's frankly none of my business.

To those insurance haters:

I feel bad you had a bad experience. I do my best to work with my clients who wanna play ball. Please don't paint all of us with the same brush. I'm not going to sit here and defend the action of the adjusters who handled your file; but know that not all of us are bad.

If you have questions about injury claims, I can answer them. I've done this job for 4 years, and know large amounts about the SABS (Statutory accident benefit schedule)

Regards

Insurance company has been nothing but helpful to me as far as the Auto and Benifits side. Saw my family doctor, have already began to receive chiropractic and massage tharapy. Trying to get my neck sorted out asap so I can enjoy the up coming riding season with no lingering affects. Hoping the headaches go away and then I'll be back to work shortly.
