What range is that?

I tried hitting up Target Sports a couple weekends ago on a weekend....showed up at 3 pm...place is open till 9 and was told I was too late to shoot that day (all booked up) .....WTF!? Was dissapoint. I remember a year or two back I pretty much walked in and shot no problem

In ontario, u cant shoot an ak legally
 
I sat through this pile of crap Saturday night..although the Canadian Forces Appreciation night was pretty neat. Was like watching a chess match.."Your move, Comrade Komisarek..ahhh..checkmate..thank you Comrade!!" Ugh..

That place is crazy busy on the weekends with groups. Went with a group and we pretty much had to book it in advanced for the weekend. You will have better luck going in on the weekdays as a walk in.

Sounds about right, ..... the thing is that I'm pretty sure I went on a weekend last time with just one buddy and we didn't book in advance. Actually this was my 3rd time there if you count Glock day and the very first time I had issues.

Oh well, will know for next time.
 
The shooting range sounds like a blast...
What are the requirements to shoot? (Age, FAC?).

No requirement at Target Sports Canada in Gormley... $40 'membership' for the day, pay for your own ammo and identification with a signed waiver stating you don't have restrictions on using firearms... A couple hours of fun will run you ~$100

Not sure of the age limit, didn't ask.
No need for license, but I think u need to have an instructor beside u. Just $15 to rent the gun but to hire an instructor is $30. You need to buy their ammo too, $15-20 for a box of 30 rounds.

You can choose whatever rifle they have.
If you don't have your license, I highly recommend getting an instructor. Also if you haven't been to the range yet, range etiquette is, never point a gun at anyone, loaded or not. Even while you're reloading. Guns should always be pointed down range.

Its alot of fun and there not much regulations there than here

I Am a member of target sports, if anyone wants to hit up the range and not have to wait in lines, I can take you as a guest and you guys can shoot my guns.

Just pay for your guest fee and ammo.

I would love to go to a range. The last time I shot an AK47 was 1980.

Group Ride when the weather warms up?
 
Sure, I have m m1 right now, doing my m2 safety course soon. Will probably get a cbr 250 or ninja 250, when I can find cheap insurance.

I dont have an ak (they are prohib in canada), but I do have a ar-15 you can shoot.
 
Nothin too crazy today, but got the bike finished and ready for the season. Took me a few hours to do the decal work and re-cover the seat though.
