The threat of violence is the only way to maintain peace imo.
No idea why repeat offenders are let out so easy :mad:

Maybe time to consider public hangings or Sharia law penalties..atleast this way family names are exposed and the element of shame may prove to be a good deterrent..?

A good society/city/province/country all begins from a stable home/upbringing.

Hard no on Sharia law thanks . Let’s just leave that portion of culture where it is . A three tiered legal system is a fast road to more misunderstandings and a confusing system .

Was posted earlier that these guys know right from wrong , I’m not convinced they do . If your coming from a culture of cheating the system at every turn , there may not be a level where you see a difference between direct theft (LCBO) or just taking 6 million in tax dollars ( trucking company in Brampton)

Is shame an issue anymore. Being on welfare used to be a negative. My wife worked at a drug store and now the welfare users push their way to the front "I'm on welfare". The dysfunctional family is the new norm.

Good chance they're already there. I'm a big proponent of face tattoos after multiple convictions. Let everyone around you know what kind of person they are near. A big 10-72 drive/dui on your forehead should make your friends think twice avoid throwing you their keys.
 
Nah, I have no sympathy for criminals. You think they will risk stealing again and possibly losing the one good hand they have left?

How about the found-in law. If your buddy steals a car and you get found in it you get smeared as well. Drug party? Everyone gets charged. Drugs in car and everyone gets hit. Peer pressure has more influence than jail time.

When people avoid you like the plague you might want to change your attitude. Right now, hanging with a thug can be seen as cool. Hanging with him behind bars, not so much.

Of course none of these mall colleges/diploma mills can qualify foreign students for permits unless the province approves them:

So much of this falls right in the lap of the provinces, while the feds have been at best asleep at the wheel so has Ontario and many other provinces that regulate post secondary education. Or they were just knowingly cashing in.

Of course this is including the Ontario public colleges operating what are basically GTA satellite campuses basically only for foreign students. No domestic tuition listed, not listed as one of their campuses, etc.

I trust that the school regulations are as diligently scrutinized and enforced as the driving tests and license regulations.
