As i noted they can charge you with obstuction of the plate like the OPP tried to give me. I had records of bills that went to court. My charge was dropped, if you are not getting and have no bills to back up with a modified plate, you may not have this out
Ok worse case you get charged with obstruction of plate right? So thats what , like $150 fine? If you travel the 407 quite frequently, you could easily have saved over $500 or more in 407 bills by "accidently obstructing your plate" , so yes its on your record( minor) but you technically have saved more in the long run by doing this, and your time as well as we all know how good traffic is on there compared to the 401.
