That’s correct. Omvic won’t let you sell for higher then the advertised price.

The franchise agreement will restrict the dealer from selling above msrp/list on a new never registered vehicle. It can be traded in the next day and sold for whatever the market will pay as a used car though.

Don't dealers play games with that where you pay MSRP for the car and some creative fees to jack up the price? Or that doesn't happen in Ontario? Weren't the new Civic Type R's going for well over list in Ontario? I thought I saw something that said they were.

Your probably going to be made to buy the wheel locks, window etching, winter mats etc for full pop but no weird $5000 market adjustment kind of thing.

Yes they were. Right now there’s quite a few vehicles that will sell over list.
