2014 track day schedule

Sheena, you mention CTMP in your post. Which track are you able to book? (If any)

Nothing is official Rob, but I'm confident we will have multiple days at both the 'big' track and the new DDT track. We also plan to do 25 days at Calabogie as we did last year, and a few Shannonville days.

Woo hoo.:D

Season is ending and already getting started lol.....looking forward to next years track days, always a blast with the PRO-6 gang!!!

Can't wait for winter to be over even though it hasn't started. I will be out for 3 or 4 pro6 days next year hopefully at bogie and the big track at mosport fingers crossed there will be td's there.

I also plan on finally getting up to Calabogie. I need to see what all the hype is about :p

You will enjoy it for sure.

+2......just imagine a fast technical track with tons of elevation change and as smooth as glass, it's such a great track to ride.....enjoy

Hit me up, when I go I have a fridge, power, possibly room to sleep and have been there plenty of times now... I have a pretty good handle on the track if you want advice. Pretty sure there are pieces of my bikes still there... lol

Thanks, I'll let you know when we're going. Most likely only doing one day. Not sure what we'll do for accommodations.

If you can, go up and do 2 days. That's what we always do since we're travelling that far. We stay at Jockos beach resort and its pretty nice and fairly reasonable. Or you can camp at the track if you have the equipment for it.

I would love to do more than one day but it's too expensive (I know everybody is going to say it's worth it, but it's still money). I've got good camping gear. How are the showers and washrooms at the track? I imagine they're fairly nice.

Facilities are great, showers are awesome compared to every other track.

Stay at the track and save money for day 2.

I can't justify the cost of the track day itself vs. two track days at Grand Bend (which is only an hour and twenty minutes from my place). I'll probably be able to justify it after I ride Calabogie, but not yet. ;)

To drag my truck and trailer from Newmarket to 'bogie and back costs about $160 in gas alone. That is why financially it's not worth doing just 1 day.

From a riding perspective, yes it's a great track, smooth, fast etc etc. But it also takes a while to learn. So just as you're getting to grips with which way to turn it'll be time to go home. You won't get full value for your initial investment of time and money.

I camp at the track, a lot of people do. It's normally a fun evening hanging out there.

It's expensive but sooooooo worth it.

I start saving in January, then booking at the December show doesn't hurt so much. Taking advantage of pro6s bundle packages also helps.

Thanks for the input, folks. I get it, doing more days offsets the travel cost and time, but it still adds $250 to the whole endeavor. I'm okay with going up there for one day the first time. We're planning to do a Friday, so if there's a track day happening Saturday and it's not full we may decide to stay.

may consider it this year... but I say that every year.
