Yay, proud of Greece. Made history, first time passing to the second round and put up a great fight to the end with Costa Rica. The game could have gone either way, the second half and both over times were dominated by Greece.

Good riddance to Greece; Costa Rica should erect a shrine for the keeper after that game, and not just because of the penalty save.

That was beyond fixed! The amount of calls that the ref turned a blind eye to..I can't even describe the disappointment..smh..

I thought both refs called a great game today... They turned a blind eye to all the small stuff and just let them play

No way! How can u say that after they refused to give us that goal? I threw the towel in after that n cudnt watch anymore
 
BUT.. It bounced off of luiz so it was back in play. That was a ripp off of a call by the ref. I'm done being a sore loser, hopefully Germany doesn't let them get away with all those dirty plays..grumble grumble

The Germany vs Brazil game will definitely be very exciting. I'm glad Argentina made it through, let's hope they can keep the streak going.

Great game between Netherlands and Costa Rica. Although, I wanted CR to win, there was really no reason for that game to reach penalties. Netherlands played such a great game, it really should have been over before they got into over time.

The semi-finals are going to be nail-biting exciting, that's for sure.

My initial choice was Chile to win but now it feels like the final will be between Netherlands and Germany
