Yesterday Christian parents talked for a few hours with brain specialist . They decided to give Christian one last night to give them a sign so this morning they decided to let him go .. Funeral will be held in Shawinigan the 26th .. ill give all the details later

This sucks. RIP. I attended the race but had no idea this happened until I came home late this week.
It's unfortunate that things like this happen. We pay for entertainment, to see these riders on the edge and it's wonderful. Not so when deaths occur though.

A motorcyclist involved in a crash at a racetrack in Clarington, Ont., about a week ago has died.
Police say a 34-year-old man from Quebec lost control of his bike during a Superbike race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Aug. 11. He was airlifted to a Toronto hospital where he died of his injuries on Saturday.
“Witnesses reported observing the motorcycle entering turn number eight before losing control, running off the track and striking a barrier,” police said in a statement.
The victim’s name isn’t being disclosed at the family’s request, police said.

A very sad weekend for Canadian racing indeed. My deepest condolences to his wife, daughter and family. It will be hard to see that corner and not think of him. RIP Christian.
