Another lap and you might have got 1st.
Great weekend. I don't mind the rain (good thing,LOL)...just adds another challenge to the race.
Had a great time with outtacontrol and his family, Paul, Azim, JayV, Competition Cycle, GraffittiGurl and Jim, and everyone else at SOAR.
As for the person who said racing runis trackdays...yup.
One race day has gotta be equal to a pile of trackdays.

Ah yes, I knew I was reeling Donny in but I also knew I had built a bit of a lead on Scott and I wanted to make sure I stayed on the bike!

Thanks everyone for coming to GB - it is always a fun weekend with SOAR. I'm glad someone mentioned Go Pro's because I forgot to ask on the weekend if anybody had some footage from their race weekend that they could send me (so I can put it on our website). I am looking for stuff from this year as most of last years stuff had the trailers in it and didn't have the curbing which doesn't represent what we have now. (the curbing will be painted by the next round - we want to leave it cure a little longer before we paint it) my email is pspriet@sprietinvestments.com.
Also the next SOAR round June 15-17 will be the largest crowd you have ever seen regarding a bike event. Our All Bike drag wkd draws 100-150 racers on the HULLY GULLY sponsored Saturday as it is has classes for all makes of bikes and all levels of riders (Street Bike & Super Bike classes right up a Q16 program, plus we do the Nitro Harley Qualifiers on Sat as well - track record is 6.41secs at 221MPH) We have also added some 200MPH HURA Pro Mods to the mix. On Sunday - Rocky's Harley day - we don't have as many racers basically Harley classes, plus one all makes class and the Nitro Harley race, plus the Pro Mods, but the last 2 years we have seen in excess of 1000 bikes showup and park in the pits. (Close to 3000 people attend this event)
So if you have ever wanted your family or friends to come see you race - this weekend offers so much to see. It is great to be able to add SOAR to this event and showcase what you do - to a totally new audience. (Hoping the rain this past weekend is our rain on SOAR wkds for the year) Tks Paul

Hey all. It was my first weekend at a SOAR event. Took some pictures. Sorry, bunches of them were of people I knew but you might be lucky and be in there if you're looking for shots or just to see what the event looked like. I was in the Racer5 program so a lot of it is related to that. If you find a shot and want the original just let me know.

You did awesome out there and it looks like you picked up a whole bunch of speed. Hope to see you on the track soon.
I can honestly say this was one of the fastest groups we have ever had and it was a pleasure spending the weekend with all of you!

You rode pretty well this weekend. You should come play in some extra classes soon.. 600, Open, Sbk, etc.
You better make it out for round 2! How come your buddy took off on Sat? He didn't seem to happy.
Wow with the exception of Seth on Bevans ex-R6 I have a connection to every bike you shot. Thats my FZR that Lindsay is riding. I just painted the Green and White GSXR1000 and built most of the Racer5 fleet.

I took a bunch of the FZR. I knew they had borrowed it after their bike decided it didnt like having oil in it anymore. Next time I come out I think I'll just go nuts and take a ton of pics and post them up. That way some of them will be good and actually in focus. Although..I have a feeling now matter how many pics I take ken will have had his hands on most of them!
