I've been looking for a new bike so I decided to call up Brampton Suzuki to find out about their promotions. 0% and deferred payments was definitely only on cars (kinda figured).

They are however offering 2010 GSXR-600's for $7999 + tax


Quite a deal, the only kink in the plan is the colour. I thought they still had the Black or Black/Red colour scheme. 2010 Only comes in blue/Silver and Blue.

So the colour is a huge turnoff :(

$7999!!?! Isn't that cheaper than the 2009 model that was on special @ Snow City?
 
Ya its a disgusting price.... I might go take a look at them, see if the colours grow on me... :D

I so badly wanted Red or Black.


I went to the honda powerhouse dealership in Milton and totally fell in love with the 2009 CBR600RR-ABS (out of my price range atm though)

For sure? I had a run in with these guys a few years back. Listing super low prices on Trader.com but OTD was a different thing. No deal Howie.
 
The price is listed on their website as well. But ya, OTD is another story.

You said 8G +tax. Is that it or isn't that it? You should know this.

No kidding I said 8G + tax.
That does not mean the dealership can't lay on the Freight, PDI, Gas Tax.....

and how should I know this? Because my brief 20 second conversation on the phone with somebody saying its $7999......

I said it's a different story, because it usually is and I don't know what the bottom line is.

You said the only kink in the plan was the colour. Now all of a sudden there's more possible charges. Sounds pretty kinky to me.

OTD pricing is the only price that matters... if you can get if for $7999 plus tax, you win... if they tack on anything extra, you lose.

Come to think about it... if you buy new, you lose every time, regardless of the deal you think you've scored.

I don't know why you're picking a fight with me, I was just doing you a favour by pointing out and questioning the price. You stated the price plus tax, not me.
There's children all over the world going to bed last night thinking they can get a Gixxer 600 for 8 + tax in Brampton, Canada. I wouldn't want that on my shoulders.:p
