The guy with "catch me" on his helmet thought it was funny too, until.....

Really? Is that what they told you? Does the tooth fairy leave you a looney still?

I lose brain cells reading some of these threads

Maybe when you own a real bike you'll understand how easy it is. I kid, I kid!

But really, if the cop gives you the courtesy of lighting up the cherries before he's got you in a bad position then he's already lost. If you're still around for air support to arrive then chances are you wouldn't have gotten away anyways.

Really? That's your rebutle? Complaining about what bike I ride? You could've done better than that. Just because you have an SS or a litre bike does mean you automatically out run the cops lol do you not think skill comes in to play at all in the equation?

Oh but I see, you're the resident know it all?

Are you the one riding the 250? Or was that just for a week? I bet you were faster then everyone on that group ride to right man! ;)

Your post history says enough about you.

Just another poser on a bike that he can't handle most likely.

:) good luck to you if you decide to out run.

Thanks. Finally got my ****img m2

Careful now you are talking to a brand new fully M2'd rider here,

This is a long shot, but.... Could anyone explain to me the proper lane position for the mto test? I can't find my book and don't know if I need to be in the left or right tire track when making the left turn.

It doesn't matter if he just learned what blocking position is because you don't need that when your running from the police....... :D

I carry Batman grade smoke bombs for all of my evading needs. My 250 needs all the help it can get

Why don't you learn the difference between your and you're before you question my knowledge.

As for sv650 I guess you can't figure out sarcasm, even when I spell it out for. Pretty funny that you got so butthurt over a joke that you felt the need to stalk me. Perhaps you and your bofriend over there can come out to the thursday ride tonight to show me how bad of a rider I am.

Before anyone asks I buy them in bulk at Costco or the Batman supply depot in Hamilton

You just grilled a fellow rider for grammar yet...... you just made a mistake as well!!!

You opened your mouth and you gOt what you deserved.

My bike is pretty much away for the season, I'll catch you next spring.

Oh ya, I'm on my M2 as well. does that mean we're on a level playing field?

Stalking? not really......I just have the respect to read up on someone "before" I trash them....unlike you!

Anyway.....think you better quit while you're ahead and have a bit of respect left. just my opinion.

But what do I know I ride an SV

Omg, you said git instead of get! I never slammed you for the bike you ride, it was a lighthearted joke. What exactly do you think I meant when I said "I kid I kid!"? Get over yourself, you got offended over a joke about your bike. Perhaps you're already self concious about it?

The funny thing is, if you would have bothered to further "research" me you would have seen me sticking up for people who ride bikes as small as 250cc.

I could care less what your opinion is of me. Judging by the way you blow up over nothing you wouldn't be the type of person I'd care to associate myself with anyways.

I fully expect a winters worth of entertainment from you two. I heard a rumor that sv 's are for chicks only. I can't repeat who told me that but it was someone in this thread who's gonna teach you how to right at the meat twonight

You're right we wouldn't associate. You don't know how to properly lane block, how could you possibly be a good rider in a group ride?

You insulted everyone on this forum who rides an SV....Hardly think I might have been the only one offended. Oh ya the shoe goes on the other foot. I don't care who you stick up for..... you instigated something and got it handed back to you. Man up!

Maybe next time you'll think before you type?

Love it! That's a good way to start ;)

One day I'll get there I'm just not as good of a rider as Randomhero so I'll have to wait a bit.

I used to go on many group rides with people, who've ran from cops many many times. In fact, for some reason I lucked out, because I personally didn't see the cherries not even once, pure luck given that my riding was totally reckless, the rides would frequent 200+ on backroads. But I had it decided back then---if I were to see the cherries, I'd stop, my bike and license are not worth a criminal charge! I guess it comes down to personal choice, but you'd better make that choice before the ride, and stick to it. Can you lose the cops quickly? Hell yea, on a 600, on a 1000....even on smaller bikes. Is the chance of getting caught big? I don't think so. But if you run, you better know it and do it right away and not hesitate even for a second, that's what I heard people saying...

So, given the fact that I was unable to force myself to ride responsibly, I took up going to the track, and cancelled my insurance and took it off the street the day after my first track day. And let me tell you---my life turned around for the better! Not only I'm not presented with temptation to break the law, to potentially hurt myself or somebody else, risk my license, bike, or maybe even temptation to run from the cops, I get to spend so much more time home with the kids, and in terms of riding---even a day at the track provides me with more satisfaction from riding that all the 200+ backroad riding I've ever done in my life combined!

It's a personal choice, but I just wanted to throw this as an option in here, because going track-only is great on multiple counts. And on top---the 2500 I was paying for insurance----that buys 10 to 20 track days per summer, certainly more than enough to feed your riding hunger, and then some! Oh, and none of the 200kph+ riding on the street comes even close to the intensity of riding on the track. I know that some of you will say things like "but I ride so fast, I'm a rocket"....well, I used to say the same things and really believed them, and it's so totally wrong. So, to sum up, I've come to think that the illegal rides on the street are a pretty damn stupid and idiotic thing to do. But it's your choice, I'm not judging, whatever rocks your boat u know, just wanted to say there are other options for YOU.

.

As soon as you pull over your bike and license are gone (not to mention insurance on your cage would double at least)....and you would enjoy a nice fine.
I know a couple people who pulled over on bikes. They said they wish they never did stop for cop as they went through nightmare.

you make a great point and thats what I'm doing in July when I get my full M is going track only. A lot of the riders here in the KW are have both or at least a track bike. nice group of people who have become good friends.

I seed nuffing wrung wif mi grammer

Really ?

Anyone ever done this ?

If anyone has no one's gonna admit it online. *edit lol nope. You guys realize this is an open forum right?

You're right we wouldn't associate. You don't know how to properly lane block, how could you possibly be a good rider in a group ride?

I didn't realize you speak for all of us? I'm hardly offended cause unlike some SV riders who run at the first sign of cold *cough* I don't really care what people have to say about the bike or me. He made a joke, you acted like a girl and now you're forcing an argument. If you're a female this makes perfect sense though.

On topic, running is 3 things:

Do you have the balls? Do you have the skill? Is it worth it? And you need to answer all 3 in under a second and hope you're right.
