Anyone ever done this ?
I've always wondered, what if a cop gets close enough that he catches your plate and then calls it off. Can they still knock on your door and charge you or there is no proof that it was actually you?
I've heard several times that they try to get the plate and call it off to later knock on your door.
Here is another story of running. I was at the Timmies in Woodbridge right besides Rona (HWY 7/Weston), where the cops had a RIDE program on the ramp going from 400 onto 407ETR. A cop approaches the guy and signals him to open his visor, when all of a sudden this dude just guns it. You could hear the brike scream for about 30 seconds and disappear going west on 407 . Cops didn't even bother and continued to check other drivers.

In regards to running: I've spoken to a few ppl who I think arent lying about running. One trick to outrun a bird is to head into an air field/airport, they are apparently not allowed there lol
No! because that is just IMPOSSIBLE to do LolzzzzzReally ?

I heard that's ********. They just have to call them and tell them to delay some flights. Thing is if you haven't ditched the cops by the first minute uou're probably ****ed. And from what I've seen happen if they get your plates they can't do much. They will do their best to sfare you and make your life **** for a bit, until they find something else to occupy their time.
I like how some people still make a big deal out of the possible criminal charge for if you run. If I lose my license I lose my job. If I were wreckless enough to do 180 on the streets then why would I bother to stop? The blatant disregard for the law is already there, but if I run the chances of me paying the price for my actions are pretty slim.
Buddyboy displayed a double-dose of idiocy.. First he goes 50+ over the limit and then stops... Darwin will take care of him one way or another.
i know 3 guys that run on a regular basis.they have over 100 chases under their belt.Really ?

What they do if they have your plates is come to your house and try to trick you into thinking that you're nicked. You start of by saying it wasn't you... they will tell you that they know it was, and you say... it wasn't me, but if this conversation goes any further, it sounds like I need a lawyer because you can't trust cops. Then you follow every subsequent question with "I have no statement to make and do not wish to answer any further questions." If they touch you, they are doing so unlawfully and you should avise them that you will be filing assault charges - but don't fight back.
If they REALLY want to be pricks, they can confiscate the bike as evidence of a crime. A couple phone calls and that's over with too... but they're just trying to scare/annoy you into confessing. Don't do it, they absolutely WILL hit you with everything they can if you find yourself in this situation.
