18 Things You Can Do on a Cruiser but no on a Sportbike

It's on the other side. Even has its own little light to make it legal. I played with making a flipper, but I'll leave that you young rebels and renegades.

Tbh, I never noticed the plate, I was referring to the tail light and signals. Cool little bobber though, what is it?

Found a matching helmet for you: Torc T50

That's the flag of the Imperial Jap Navy. I wear it over my face to keep the bugs off. Tres hipster.

Very interesting looking flag. Much better than the puke coloured straight bars of some countries.

Seriously? Wouldn't that be about the same as wearing a Nazi flag?

No, Nazi is the symbol of white supremacists and mass murder. Japanese flag was an opposing war opponent, not our ally at all but not the same thing. If you missed it, a ton of riders wear the German military helmet as their bike helmet. The Japanese navy flag is just a nice pattern now unless you fought against them and have some bad emotional scarring, which is entirely possible.

Honda CM250? If not I have no idea.

Nevermind, found it in the Photobucket description.

Maybe because they didn't commit atrocities in Europe so nobody cared. But they raped & pilaged the East. On par with what the Nazis did

That's they way I see it.

Wear what you want. I don't care. But I hope one would realize what they're representing.

Are you guys sure the whole article wasn't just a piece of sarcasm? We know sarcasm doesn't translate well online, so possibly...?

Even the Confederate flag is considered offensive now

And apparently what the Americans did in Vietnam according to reports as well. All wars have atrocities by both sides. Only the winners decide what is recorded as history. So who do you pick to hate?

I've lived with a lot of people from the southern states. Believe me when I say that the Confederate flag represents a huge part of that populations beliefs today. So being offended by that one is current news, not just back in the civil war days.

I'm not aware of any Japanese Naval atrocities, unlike the army. When I was in South Korea a couple of years ago they had many reminders of that. One statue I came across in a Seoul park had a Japanese soldier bayoneting a mother and child. That's one nation that will never forget.

The Japanese were just as bad as the Nazis... just read up on:
The Rape of Nanking: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanking_Massacre
as well as Unit 731: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731

My Wife's great-grandparents were murdered by the Japanese, and her Grandfather then joined the Chinese Army at 14 years old... him and his troops were out-numbered and pushed into Russia where they were further trained by the Red Army and became the first Chinese paratrooper troop: http://english.chinamil.com.cn/news-channels/today-headlines/2015-05/20/content_6499074.htm

So... wearing that Japanese flag might bring back uncomfortable memories for older Asians, including Chinese, Koreans, Filipinos, etc.

What did the Americans do that can so comparable?

I don't know firsthand. I can only repeat what's been said by Americans. All I'm saying is that the movies aren't the first line of accurate historical documents when made in Hollywood. Everybody has done very bad things in wartime, that's the nature of that horrendous beast.

Yes, Americans have killed civilians, they have also used Agent Orange on large vast of land, but I cannot recall where they have intentionally tortured civilians. Something which Imperial Japan did.
