09 CBR600RR with ABS with 22k for $8000. Reasonable?

Got my M2 for about a year, and would love to become a CBR leisure rider. But has been hesitating about what year to get. I plan to keep the bike for myself until it's natural death. So you think getting a 09 CBR600RR with ABS with 22k milage on it for $8000 is reasonable? Or should I just go get a newer model?

Any thoughts are welcome!

Yeah that seems reasonable at this time of the season.
Of course later in the season you can easily knock off $500-$600.

I have an 09 NON ABS version and I love the bike. It's fun to ride and looks great too.

Seems well priced.

What's a fair price I should be asking?

Oh I didn't say it wasn't a fair price (if you're expecting to take a few hundred less), but an 09 with ABS for 8k is difficult to beat in June.

hmm i have a black 2009 CBR with ABS and approx 4,500 KM ... i wonder what i could still get for it lol CBR1000 here i come!

Over priced for 22km on it.
april 1st I got my 2009 cbr600rr with 3200km, 2 yr honda warranty, pazzo levers, zero gravity windscreen, stands, box of oils and cleaners, gps and sms paging alarm and paid $8100.

The bike doesnt have a scuff on it, and I wanted as stock as possible so I could do my own mods(which are done now)

bought 2 days before actually on my nephews b-day (that i forgot about because i was looking at the bike....oops lol)... i just transferred the ownership on the 1st.

there were a few comparable at the time, i had one guy with a black 09 with ABS and 5000km down to about 7 grand, but it had a light tip over on it... he claimed it fell in the driveway when his cousin leaned on it...(right)but it was a lowside. for me, the cost of new OEM plastics plus a seller the seller lying about it made the one i bought more than worth it for the extra grand...plus the honda warranty and the couple extras he included.

regardless... 22km...8 grand...pass.. ide rather a 07 with lower km...i think that should be around the $6500 mark. you can grab a NEW 2012 GSXR600 for about $9200 at a dealer.

Buy a 2007 or 2008 for more HP and Torque

Buy a 2007 or 2008 for more HP and Torque if you constantly go over 12500 rpm

fixed

yea when a seller lies about a drop or lowside, i walk, i dont care what the price is. cuz who knows what else hes not telling you about the bike.

Know someone selling 2011 CBR 600rr with 2800km asking $7300
PM me the info.. my buddy is coming back to canada in a couple weeks... he sold his R6 just before he left a few months ago and wants a new bike as soon as he gets back.
if he clears it after me and another friend check it, ill put up the cash before he arrives.

just FYI...i dont like your chart.. its demeaning to my 09 and proves what my buddy claims with his 07 LOL
putting the 2007 ECU in the 2009+ is the fix for it... its $50..and i think i read that after that it actually out preforms the 07/08

also, for some reason the GSXR had the same thing... 07/08 are more powerful than the 09-10... may include 11+ i cant remember. but really, you going to notice that 2 extra hp? i doubt i would.

yup... you have a bike with light damage, cool disclose it and say ya i effed up and it slid out... really, no one believes your cousing tipped it on your driveway and its steep so it slid...besides, i can tell by the design in the scratches if it tipped and slid, or tipped from missing your kickstand
the other issue was him mom was dictating the pricing on it... she started yellin when i was on the phone" no its worth 12 grand.. blah blah blah.".. i guess she had more money in it then him....man up, buy your own bikes... they are adult toys.

Pay any more than $6500 for that and you will have been taken.
