    Garage Doors

E Excellent advice, thank you. My garage doors are 12 years old, composite and bubbling. They're likely roasted from the sun as they face directly south. Most of the doors out there are galvanized steel...wonder why they don't use aluminium more? It's lighter. Likely retains less heat. Just not...

Buys brand new MV Agusta: A few hours later: He just moved to Florida and just made a video on the dangerous drivers and amount of riders dying. Nice guy. Great channel. I'm glad he's still with us.

    Garage Doors

Are Are the builder doors wood or composite? The problem with the composite is that they begin to blister in the heat... vinyl may do the same. Steel it is.

Tg This. You don't use salt or calcium chloride on your driveway? What about aluminum?

    Garage Doors

Mine are ten years old, composite, which means they're bubbling and not able to sand and paint. What's are you all replacing your garage doors with? What has the best/longest shelf life for our Canadian weather and keeps the garage reasonably warm in the winter? Quotes are $3200 for two. It's...

Best Ear Plugs (for a loud bike)

Update. Turns out the full Brocks system for the H2 comes with the baffle already installed. Have to buy the extra silencer. Thanks for the suggestions on the ear plugs. The silicone ones didn't seem to do anything. The foam -33 most definitely help. The bike sounds like an F1 car from the old...

Best Ear Plugs (for a loud bike)

B BS. I know someone where I live that wants to move because of the potato, potato, potato... she lives on a start and stop part of the road in a beach town. Don't kid yourself, Harley's get a pass.

Best Ear Plugs (for a loud bike)

I'm not really a fan of loud exhausts, but that's how the bike came...just trying to ride it until the baffle comes in the mail. I can (and do) idle it through towns. I get young kids motioning their wrist for me to rev bomb it. I won't do it. It's an H2. Even with the full Brocks I don't know...

Best Ear Plugs (for a loud bike)

Got a full Brocks system, it's loud, don't want to lose hearing, have a silencer on order. Bike sounds awesome... like an F1 car. What ear plugs do you guys with loud bikes use? Foam inserts is what I normally use, but cutting down ~ 20 dB isn't going to cut it with this bike. Thanks in advance.

    Helmet Base Gasket Repair

Thought of this...but you'd have to be quick as epoxy dries fast. Two sided tape would be an interesting option. The Gorilla Glue ruined the gasket, going to order another one...if I can still get one.

    Helmet Base Gasket Repair

What is the best glue for the base gasket trim falling off? And why would Gorilla Glue have a hard time sticking the rubber to plastic? My wife had a go at it...she's a superglue specialist...she kinda made a mess of it. I don't blame her though, it just wouldn't adhere.

    Belair Direct

House is $420 with Belair Direct VS TD $1300. What's the catch? Is Belair stealing loyal customers from TD and then raising the rates the following year? I see a lot of complaints about Belair Direct here. But that's probably the case with any insurance company...but these complaints seem...

    Belair Direct

Yes indeed. House, Car, Motorcycle literally all quoted half the price of TD. Too good to be true?

    Belair Direct

Hello GTAM, Insurance renewal time for me...this insurance company seems to have great rates, literally half of what I'm paying with TD. Are these rates legit? Is this a bait and switch tactic? Would be interested to hear your experiences with Belair Direct. Thank you.
