What is the best glue for the base gasket trim falling off? And why would Gorilla Glue have a hard time sticking the rubber to plastic? My wife had a go at it...she's a superglue specialist...she kinda made a mess of it. I don't blame her though, it just wouldn't adhere.

The thin double-sided tape that is used for adhering automotive emblems should do the trick.
Not the foam version.

Thought of this...but you'd have to be quick as epoxy dries fast.
Two sided tape would be an interesting option.
The Gorilla Glue ruined the gasket, going to order another one...if I can still get one.
