I'd be surprised if the one closest to me takes them without a receipt saying you bought replacements from them. They won't take my oil anymore without one. And if the receipt's a few years old they won't accept that, either. Even though the receipt shows 5 jugs and I explain I buy a lot at...
Anyone know where to get Pro Honda HP Trans Oil SAE 80w/85w Part #: CB68841 in the west end?
My closest Honda dealer told me I need to buy a whole case of 12. I emailed Honda Powersports corporate and explained this and their helpful response was just to contact my local dealer. Apparently...
My daily is a 2009 Aprilia RS125 which is a carb'd 2 stroke. If I don't ride it for about 2 weeks, it becomes very hard to start. But if I try (and often fail) and then let it sit for awhile and come back, it starts instantly.
I presume this is from the fuel evaporating from the float bowl...
Seems like this was it. Worked when boosted. I thought my friend tested this before I asked since it was my first suggestion and they kept asking after. 🤷♂️
Unfortunately Alleycat is out of commission due to a riding accident where he broke his hip. Based on the email I got he should be fine but won't be working for awhile.
Anyone know what's involved in changing the fork oil on my RS125? It's got about 14000 km on it and it hasn't been changed since 2009 so probably overdue. AF1 Racing told me I need to change the bushings, as well, which are discontinued and only available from Europe (and are super expensive...
It never went away. It's just totally different now. Multi-Use is no longer recommended for motorcycle chains. Chain Saver is recommended instead but it's still not the same.

How about this?

Yes, I know I am bringing a dead thread back to life.
Thanks! What's kind of funny to me is if you use their oil selector and put in this bike it specifies their hypoid gear oil which it specifically says it not for wet clutches.
Bringing my old thread back from the dead. Not sure what I ended up with but I never did really resolve the clutch dragging issue. Haven't really noticed it for a few years now but it was really bad yesterday so I started thinking I need to change the fluid again (it's been years) and again...
I give them the finger or otherwise just ignore them. The finger has calmed down with age. Sometimes I'll troll them for a bit. After commuting in the city for a few years nothing surprises me anymore. The smart thing to do is to just ignore them and either try to let them past or just get...
I had the Goretex version of these. Looks like they improved them with more ankle bracing in your pic. With mine, I had a VERY minor crash at like 40 kph and managed to get a small ankle fracture. Plus they absolutely sucked to walk in.
I like everything you said here except for anything about the Fiat. Had one as a rental and while it was fine for that and I might enjoy booting around town in one for a day here and there, I wouldn't want to own one.
I just got one of these for free but both USB ports are damaged and the connector on the power supply is horribly bent (but still works). Considering trying to fix it just for fun. Wonder how hard it is to swap the usb ports without buying anything (desolder from another board and swap over I...
Oh, so it's a loophole based on sales? How's that work? From the discussions here I was getting the impression they (2 strokes) were actually all street legal as long as you never green plate it.
I'm surprised I never see modern blue plated 2 strokes on Kijiji.
Maybe I should nab one up before...
My 2009 sure smokes still. On start up, anyway.
I was under the impression my RS125 was only made street legal because the dealer broke some rules. Read that in a few places and the dealer (Corso Meccanicca) told me the same. I guess I was misinformed. I know as of a few years ago a few dealers...
