@mimico_polak we started with Lego/Duplo around 3. They have simple RC toys for kids that age but what I found is that they did not keep my kids attention. Around 5 is when the TERRIBLE RC cars / Trucks / Robots started showing up as gifts. I would recommend getting something with big...
I am going through the Deadwood series again.
I am enjoying it more the 2nd time around. I'll watch the movie after.
I think they did an excellent job with show. I highly recommend it.
I'll take them off your hands if you can't use them. The ones for my ST1300 feel like they're made of butter. I've been wanting to replace them forever. Let me know. Mine is not chipped.
My Honda Shadow (used) came with a Mustang seat. Made the world of difference. When I bought my ST1300, I upgraded the stock seat to a Russel Daylong. It was because I personally witnessed the difference the stock seat vs. aftermarket that I didn't didn't hesitate on the ST. I never get...
I have a tankless water heater as well. It came with the house. It is not hooked up to a water softener. The only time I had problems with it and I wanted support from the manufacturer, they wanted to know if I conducted regular (yearly) cleaning cycles on it to ensure there wasn't a...
I ordered 2 sets of plugs from here and they work well. I haven't used them on the bike yet but I use them for sleeping regularly. I do find that they often go in so deep that I cannot remove them without using tweezers. That is why I like the ones with the string in general.
They must have just added the eye-bolts. I purchased the same lift last year and I ended up drilling my own.
I don't trust the choke or if the bike is on the centre stand when the lift is up in the air.
The lift is solid but ratchet straps all the way for me.
Happy Birthday GTAM. Thanks again Paul and Donna for building this community.
I've been here a long time. First time I met the GTAM crew in person was at a Brampton Toy Ride a long long time ago. Shortly after that at the Ride for Sight.
Time flies when we're having fun and there's still so...
Just saw Peppermint with Jennifer Garner. It was terrible. Cookie cutter cliche un-original blah. I should have shut it off but I was warm where I was and didn't want to move. She does kill a lot of people in creative ways but it wasn't enough to make the rest of the movie OK in my books.
Re: Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2018 Edition)
Rode today. Car is in the shop. Short trip to work.
Light right but with the temps around 7C in the AM, it was an easy uneventful ride.
We're all Apple at home. I use the AppleTV3 to access my paid services as stated above. (Netflix, Prime). I run a Plex server at home and the Plex app works well.
The AppleTVs also allow you to 'Airplay' the content from your devices (phones / tablets) to the big screen. It's an easy way...
I've ridden thousands of KMs with one eye driving and riding.
It's tuffer at night as I used objects around me to judge distance (depth).
Overall, it's not a problem.
