Went Friday to watch the endurance race with my daughters. Had a blast! $10 day pass and kids under 12 free. You local folks really need to go check this out and support the event. Some beautiful bikes and great racing.

Holy crap the US coverage poor.....lead change and nothing mentioned.......Hayden passes Dovizioso on the final lap and ends up losing a place ( I think) and they get all excited......hope the sport grows enough so the commentary improves in the US.

I rode the 800GS on the road as well and felt the same. Save the $10k and spend it on a trip where you'll actually use the bike to it's full potential. If you need more power then you need a sportbike.

You'll be safe camping in Algonquin.....you'll have lots and lots of company. In fact you might want to look at availability of campsites on the ontario provincial park website. Any weekend at Algonquin can be booked solid. Some good suggestions about length of days and routes. My suggestion...

I called a few days ago....but for the life of me I can't remember the price.....only that it was about 2/3's of the Superbike weekend.

we were up in line at 7am Saturday and 720 on Sunday.......booked solid for most of the BMW's by 7:30. As mentioned the off road rides did fill up but it seems most were able to get in if they wanted to. Had the F700GS for the off road.....first time off road so can't really say much about the...

I spoke with BMW.....yes demos are all three days.

many of these comments are bordering on racist.....and ignorant of the actual history of Detroit. Spent alot of time there in the 80' and 90's....and lived next door from the 60's on. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but hopefully you've spent abit of time reading something about Detroit...
