2013 Demo Days

Haha, I was there by accident (photo tag) and considered hanging around to try the 600/750

I went to the Honda Demo day in London over the weekend - it was great, I got to ride the CBR600RR (though I wanted to ride the 1000s :( ). It was really smooth, easy to ride. I liked the ergos a lot better than on my R6. I was really impressed.

There will be BMW demo Aug 9,10,11th in Mosport
Honda and Suzuki will be there as well.

Great chance to test out the different brands in one day.

STUFF

I have to make breakfast now, maybe someone else can find the others for you.

lol thank you, I was leaving for work so didn't have time to check.

Well I found the Honda details but since it's on a track...

Do we have to bring a full suit? How exactly does this work compared to regular group rides? Do we still follow a leader?

Yeah- think we will for the Motorad demos and watch the races

If you are an offroad or adventure rider you get to take the bikes on a trail ( guided ride )

Do I need to pay for the demo rides. There's a $50 charge for the motorrad package.

^ You will have to pay to enter the event, however you can pay for a single day (I believe it's Friday $20, Sat $30, and Sun $35).
$50 is for the "three-day weekend SuperTicket"

Along with BMW Motorrad, Honda, Ducati and Suzuki will also be offering demo rides on their latest models around the neighbouring roads near Mosport throughout the weekend. Registration is in the paddock and participants must have a valid motorcycle license, riding gear and helmet. Be sure to sign-up early because all of the time slots go quickly. Honda will also return their Junior Red Riders program which teaches children ages 6-12 the fundamentals of off-road riding.

The three-day weekend SuperTicket is just $50 until August 17 ($60 at the Gate). Single-day tickets are also available. Each ticket includes parking, access to the race team paddock, Mosport Expo and Marketplace, the BMW Motorrad Summerfest and admission to Mosport Speedway's Saturday Night Stock Car racing at the half-mile paved oval located on the grounds. As with all Mosport events, children 12 and under are admitted for free when accompanied by a paid adult admission.

Another demo day added:

Come join us on Saturday August 10th from 9am - 4 pm for your chance to test ride an MV Agusta motorcycle.

As an added bonus on the day we will be hosting a Bike gathering and charity BBQ with proceeds going to Epilepsy Durham Region. Complete with Prizes music and a great opportunity to show off your ride!

Hope to see you there!

28+ to ride a MV Augusta?? That's unfair, I could be 26 riding for 10 years but not allowed whereas a 28 year old with a couple years experience would be...WTF??

It was 30 before. Blame their insurance. Lower age, higher risk group

Nice I just turned 28 and got my M. Will have to go try one of those sexy MV Agustas.

Don't tell them your GTAM handle - might cause just a tad of rectal flutter.

For those going to Mosport the weekend of Aug 9/10/11 and are looking for cheap accomodations....outside of camping.....have a look here..
