I wonder if their suits and helmets are also made in China.

The "Official" Watch Thread and all Things Horological

Apparently the Citizen factory sale that I attended in the Fall is a bi-annual event. I'll try to watch for the Spring one, and get to it too, just for fun.

That was exactly what I was thinking. I like sushi, Citizen watches, and I ride a Jap bike, but that's as far as it goes. IMO, they've followed the Swatch example and jumped the shark. Well, OK, they (Japs, not Citizen) make some nice cars too.

I would pick the $54. version.

Antony Blinken, re. Prigozhin: "NATO has an open-door policy; Russia has an open-windows policy. And he needs to be very focused on that.”

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

They're sure not saying much about it. I wonder what they're trying to hide. That would be a fun plinker for the back 40!

    Another Mike Holmes Stinker (Meaford)

I used to work for a renovator, years ago. We had several guys like that that got jobs for us. They are salesmen. That's all. They get the contract, then find people to do the work.

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Similar to my town. One side of the road can be residential (prohibited), and the other side rural (fire away!) Read the bylaw to find the boundaries.

It's something newER. In the past it was a rarity. These days its becoming increasingly more common.

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Check your local bylaws first. Firearm discharge is prohibited in many areas.

Looks like that; Couldn't gain altitude. Crashed shortly beyond runway. Sad. Condolences to all.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Mine is an aluminum U. I bought the rubber from my local garage door guy, and slid it into my original aluminum U. I had to open up the little grooves in a few spots where they had been squeezed a little too tight from use. I removed the extrusion to do so. Rubber was 2 bucks a foot.

Me, for one. I had my old mantle clock revitalized and I'm delighted with the result every hour, and once every half hour. :)

These are amazing and cheap. Ticks all the boxes, unless you insist on a mechanical movement. I have no problem with ETA quartz. Only catch: not currently available, though the steel version is. I would take this on any underwater mission...
