Leaving Ice house on Guelph Line in Campbellville at 1130am for about an hour of the twisties in halton hills. Meet others at Esso station at Barton and Centennial in Hamilton and leave for Niagara twisties at 130pm. Exhilarating, sporting pace! We'll be in Niagara Falls about 330pm for gas...
Good meeting jeff on the Tuono yesterday, he goes good, fun ride. Temperature could have been a bit better for my highway riding between Scarborough and Burlington, kind of chilly but after a winter like we had, I'm happy to ride anyways.
Leaving Barton and centennial esso in hamilton at 1pm. Sporting pace. No newbs, 250 ' s or cruiser bikes. Experienced riders only. We'll be going to falls for about 4pm. May do shore of Lake Erie to Cayuga on the way back depending on temperature. Likely back in hamilton about 6pm.
When it comes to rolling the dice on whether you're about to deal with a cop who is or isn't a liar, less people are willing to take that risk because there has been so many cops doing the wrong thing lately.
I don't agree with you. I think that the what the police did at the G20 was a criminal disgrace by hiding their identities and I view my country as now being very different because of it. I have a different view of the police because of it and the lies they've stated in court in my presence...
If you paid attention to what i said, your reply would have said that the system has it's problems and the police play their part. My opinion is about my own personal experience with police repeatedly lying in court. I now believe that "bike cop" has a better understanding of how the police are...
Back in the 1980s I filed my tickets and went to court where the Niagara Regional Police officers would show up and lie to the JP to get the conviction. A few years later a lot of these same cops and the chief of the NRP where charged and convicted of a number of offenses ranging from...
I see statistics from time to time that attempt to paint a negative perception of a certain demographic in motorcycling over the last 30 years or so. Where police and government would like us to believe that machine size and young riders are responsible for more deaths, they aren't. This seems...
I called in as having "a touch of Ebola" so I can go for a rip! Sorry about the short notice, leaving later in the morning from Scarborough. Meet in campbellville at the Ice House (401 and Guelph line), time is flexible, but 11am would be good. Ride in Halton Hills for an hour then lunch in...
Please note that this ride is for experienced riders who can ride at a "spirited" pace. No newbs, no 250's and no cruisers please. Minimum bike would be an SV650 and that's if you're spanking it. No rhubarb farmers either.
Monday May 19th, ride through Halton Hills then Niagara twisties after...
If bike cop really wants something to pursue in regards to bad driving, he should hang out near highway on ramps and ticket drivers going 50 km/h merging into highway lanes that are doing 110-120 km/h. That would do a lot more good than offering to look at videos that ends up doing very little...
You won't need a jet kit unless you are using a filter such as KN BMC. Have someone who knows what they're doing remove the mixture screw block offs and richen the mixtures out to about 2.5 turns or so, then bump up the needles about 0.020" (half a mm), doubt it'll take a larger main jet up top...
Couple things come to mind. Any chance you're connecting the battery backwards? Any chance that fuel has leaked and filled one of your cylinders with fuel? Starter will blow main fuse when it tries to turn engine. Any chance mice have eaten insulation from wires causing a short?
I spent a lot of years drag racing bikes at Cayuga and I'm not all that interested in pitting my bike against the clock anymore, just blew up too much stuff in the 80s and 90s.
I'd be interested in showing up to defend my "wheelie contest" title if they're doing that again.
