Post up PICS of members bikes?

Took one out when Yamaha had their demo day. It was such a great bike, and much more practical for the street. Super comfortable, upright, softer suspension and enough power for fun. It's a good recipe! I also took out the MT10 to try, but I am ruling that bike out.

Cost of Used vs New Query

Not a single used MT09 right now :( Ok, there is 1, but it's over priced and not the color I want. I should have picked up the one I was looking at for $7500 but was out of country at the time. Hopefully September will bring out some more deals, as it stands now, I spoke to a dealer who can have...

    track bike brake pads

I really didn't like the EBC stuff and now swear by Vesrah RJL pads. Paired with some SS lines and RBF 660, I have never been happier with my brakes.

Tory takes aim at noisy motorcycles

Northfield and Weber is a backed up mess constantly. Train will pass thru and intersection will stay all red for minutes. I heard there have been quite a few complainants about it but I'm not holding my breath for any changes

(Near) Free food delivered to you

No, in my opinion the pay rate is not worth the time/gas to deliver. I always tip when I order, drivers will usually accept an order much quicker if there's a tip along with it. Shame that the deal went down but luckily I pre-paid for all of this week. I think I'm getting Sushi today :)

Deal is over anyways. They don't confirm email address so you can put in a random one. Also, something that may be useful for other things too, with gmail you can put a period in anywhere and it'll go to same address. Ie. johnsmith@gmail.com, john.smith@gmail.com, jo.hnsmith@gmail.com etc...

Tory takes aim at noisy motorcycles

I run straight thru exhaust on my R6 on the street because I like the tingly feeling in my bum when I rev the motor. ? I also keep it low rpm in town and shut off the bike once I pull into my street; no reason to piss off others.

    Daily sports car?

Responsive paddles are a lot of fun; I was dead set against them until I drove some cars with some fantastic gearboxes. I do agree on the interior bit, that row of HVAC buttons just looks odd. I'm also curious how regular maintenance is vs a traditional front engine mount.

    Daily sports car?

Manual transmission wont do 0-60 in under 3 seconds. The dual clutch was an excellent choice, paddle shifters that are responsive are fantastic, I'll take them over a classic gated any day on a PERFORMANCE car

Young riders on crown land / trail system?

Out of curiosity, is there an online mapping website for crown land/trails? I'd be interested in some if there's anything within an hour of KW

    Heavy braking: locked rear tire

Buy cheap pads on the rear that are soft and tend to give a bit more feel in the pedal. Locking the rear is a lot of fun and so is fishtailing it. Go practice in a parking lot and get used to the feeling so that if you have to pull an emergency stop on the street, you know how it will behave

    Track Fairings on Street Bike

$30 ones off amazon, work well, way above expectations. They actually have a separate "Hi-Beam" mode but it's not really a true hi-beam, just an increased power level. I aimed them down so as to not blind incoming traffic. I never ride at night unless something unexpected comes up; they were...

    Track Fairings on Street Bike

Nope, check out the video. The front LED strips are switchbacks, they have built in sequential turn signals. They are clearly visible in broad daylight and about a foot long each. I'd say visibility of the bike overall has increased greatly vs what I had before. Granted, it's probably not quite...
