    TV shows currently watching

For something different, a British anthology series, Black Mirror. A Twilight Zone for this millennium involving tales of technology and it's effects on humans in the near future. Great storytelling.

Equalizer would've been directed by Tony Scott if he was still alive. I predict Jupiter Ascending will be the first mega-flop of 2015.

    Target canada closing stores!!

They never brought in the cool affordable products from designers like Alexander McQueen and Philippe Starck. That would've really set themselves apart from other retailers. Instead they just positioned themselves as just another discount box store except Walmart has that market locked.

There's been several movies lately that have underwhelmed me despite critical praise such as Foxcatcher, Get on Up, Theory of Everything and Unbroken. Seems they all look good on paper but the end product falls short. I enjoyed American Sniper but it wasn't near the top of Clint Eastwood's best...

WHAT DID YOU GET at the Supershow?

That's the cheapest decent CBR900 I've seen. I sold my 73 CB350 for more than that this past summer.

LOL @ Bieber CK ad photoshop

In photoshop, the enhancement/dehancement tool is Liquify. I've used it many times to augment breasts and pinch waists at my work. Women are highly sensitive of their publicity shots and request specific areas to be altered.

    Today, I rode a Harley

All the big-beard, denim-vested urban Pabst slingers I see ride Sportsters after giving up on their vintage Honda projects that they can never get to run well.

    Paris Attack

If all the "nice" Muslims condemn jihadism, why don't they do a better job at outing the extremists? It's like bystanders at a gangsta shooting, no one wants to talk.

Whiplash is terrific, bonus if you like jazz. Theory of Everything was a big disappointment, a movie about a scientist that contains virtually no science. The whole movie centered around Hawking's marriage.

Best Southern BBQ in the GTA?

Not only is the food good, the place feels like a real bbq joint. Cords of smoking wood piled outside and you can smell the deliciousness when entering, surrounded by the rustic decor. Damn, I should be a restaurant critic.

    Narrowing lanes in Toronto?

Anything that decreases the number of drivers will not happen. The amount of insurance revenue would be greatly reduced therefore reducing taxes collected on those premiums. No government will do something that reduces that much tax revenue. And regular retesting would cost millions to...

    The Interview cancelled

Streamed it last night. Some good laughs despite Franco's hammy overacting, even for a comedy. Best part was the Kim Jong Un character, his whole persona was reduced to the world's most dangerous fratboy.

Motorcycle Parking Fees Recommended without Notice or Public Consultation

At the rate the city is installing separated bike lanes, there soon won't be any street parking left. All the street parking on Wellesley St. has been removed and bike lanes installed leaving one lane of vehicle traffic each way. The war on cars is alive and well.
