    Yamaha Tenere 700

I’m interested in this bike. The CP2 engine gets rave reviews and the adventure platform appeals to me. I’m looking for something with off road capability and this checks a lot of boxes.

    Crashing for views...

I watch a lot of these crash videos just to train myself in what not to do and I've lasted over 40 years on the road with only one crash a long time ago (See 1 and 3!). Crashes almost always have 3 things in common: 1.-Going too fast (for the conditions, or your skill level, or the bike you're...

So with all the electronics on board, they can't add a keyless fob?

    Kijiji people are evil

That's because he was looking for cash, not a hook-up!

    New harley bikes(Bronx)

Nice looking machine. Let's just hope HD dealers don't do what they did with Buell; stick 'em in the back of the showroom and pretend they don't exist. They can attract a whole new riding demographic with this bike.

Are these even legal in Ontario?

These have been around for a long time, but I never seen them advertised as a 'baby' safety strap; more like something for any young or inexperienced passenger to hang on to if you don't have a backrest.

Has anybody used this site to purchase things before? (Motorcycle innovations)?

The internet now has a lot of your personal information that it shouldn't have.

    Tibet!

How do you decide which side of the train to hang off? Does the roof cost extra? Looks an awesome adventure, especially with that nice room! Safe travels.

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2019 Edition)

I ride until it gets freezing. I just bought a pair of UnderArmour base 3,0 long johns. Nice and warm! I worry about traction before I worry about getting cold.

    Honda Powersports is finished

I thought the whole Honda Powersports concept died years ago. Cars, bikes, snowblowers and generators - one-stop shopping! Guess it didn't work.

    Border Crossing

If something happens to you in the US and you don't have physical copy of your insce, and they don't accept electronic copies, you're really screwed! Don't play ignorant, Carry ALL the proper paperwork with you. They don't show any leniency any more and everything is recorded.

    Ride back from dealership??

I once rode an expensive, brand new Harley from the dealership to my friend's home. He hadn't ridden in a few years and wanted to start off practicing in his own neighborhood. Probably the most careful riding I've ever done!

    Border Crossing

NEXUS card is one of the best investments you can make if you travel frequently. Not just to the US, but leaving or returning to Canada from anywhere. Riding across the border is a breeze. They can scan your NEXUS card in your pocket, you don't even have to show them anything, just lift your...

    Soft shell fleece vs down

I'm a big fan of both Merino wool (Costco carries inexpensive merino wool undergarments) and Underarmour thermal gear; I wear 2.0 but am thinking of buying 3.0 for cold days skiing. I like dual-use stuff I can use for both riding and skiing.

Who wants to start up riding school ? 72 CBR125 for sale.

Even if you get them for under $1k a piece (which they're barely worth), the cost and logistics of having them all shipped and stored somewhere, cleaned up for sale, repair minor damage, and then sell them off one at a time; it's a money-losing proposition.

    Tibet!

Sounds interesting. We're planning on visiting Mongolia next summer after my g/f finishes her ESL teaching gig in China. I'm wondering if 10+ days in Tibet is too much? We figured 4-5 days in Mongolia is enough to see what needs to be seen. It's a $600.00 flight from Beijing.

    No Harley Bikes here ..?

In my experience, it’s more like 10,000 to 1. In those parts of the world, motorcycles are considered essential transportation. No one’s leafing through the HD accessories catalog looking for their next splurge. They have loads to carry or a job to get to. Although I’ll check out the HD shops...
