Well I've never seen HD sell a bike that could be called light before so that may be a long shot. They do finally have respectable hp numbers though, so who knows. I appreciate that they are finally trying to make different platforms instead of just plastic surgery on a dinosaur.

EDIT:
Given that the street is pushing 500 lbs with 53 hp, I don't have much hope for this being at all light.

I'm amazed they actually built it. I know they got a lot of positive feedback when they debuted the prototype. But alas, I suspect not too many people will buy a bike the Japs will sell you for half the price.

For all those youngster with 25k to spare these days

Harley-Davidson reveal Bronx V-twin naked

Looks sick, with proper suspension components and brembo brakes, willing to bet its probably light as well..makes 115hp

Between this, their branching out into the ADV/electric market as well, they're starting to adapt/diversify
I think the 60 degree Revo comes in 975cc expected to make 115hp/70lbs and a 1250 expected to thump out 145hp and 90lbs of torque. That's Ducati and BMW 2 cylinder territory.

These may not be piggishly heavy, it looks like they use the engine as a fully stressed frame with the steering head mounted to the motor rather than some kind of trellis or deltabox. We might be talking Virago 920 weights here, they came in well under 500lbs.

So, you would get this bike vs Ducati Monster with $11k in your pocket? Or MT09 with $15k in your pocket?

Nice looking machine. Let's just hope HD dealers don't do what they did with Buell; stick 'em in the back of the showroom and pretend they don't exist.
They can attract a whole new riding demographic with this bike.

or a street triple with...a lot of money in your pocket as well?

The middleweight naked cat is pretty competitive now days

I'm wondering if the target market is old guys buying bikes for their not quite middle aged kids? The younger people don't all want a huge bike and the old guys have the brand loyalty and disposable cash to pay the Harley tax.

Nice looking bike but looks to similar to what everyone else is doing. ?‍♂️

No one has a better dealer network across North America than HD. This could be a big draw for those considering a big ADV bike that mostly sees big miles across provinces and states.

huh? Think we're looking at 2 different things.

Or pretty much straight up even with the Ducati v4 Streetfighter?
Not even close to a contest. Lets bring a lump to a Gun Fight.

I don't think that will happen. DH has recently hired execs from the auto industry to develop better marketing and retail planning.

In the auto sector the manufacturers decide on the dealer allocation based on the manufacturer's goals, bike sales have always been the other way around. I guess HD is tired of the tail (dealers) wagging the dog.

Doubt it'll be 25k here otherwise it just won't sell, everything costs a lot more in Europe they like to tariff and tax the sht outta stuff.
But even if it came in at 15 - 20k that's still absurd lol. Like a Street Triple RS comes in at 14k and it's one of the best bikes in the segment.

Not a chance it would be less then $20000. It's a Harley!! The new Lowrider S is close to $30000 OTD! Lol

I don’t think the bike will be $25,000. My guess is more around where Indian has the FTR1200S price which I think is in the $18-19,000 range. That is still a really big ask for a lot of riders and like mentioned there are really good bikes in that category.

I like the bike a lot. I own a Harley and kind of drink the koolaid (I’m a Yamaha fanboy at heart) but I don’t think I could bring myself to buy it. BMW S1000R would be the naked I bust out the cheque book for currently. That new baby Tuono looks badass as well.

The Harley name is strong though. I think it will sell alright to the right demographic. By no means will this be a home run but it’s a legit offering in the naked category.

I can’t deal with the belt drive on this style of bike, I would have a chain and sprockets on there immediately. That was a massive disappointment to me but I can be weird about some things lol.

that 660 baby tuono does look pretty neat, not to mention probably somewhat affordable at least.
