Who here runs this tire for a street bike 120/180zr... love it? Hate it? Seems like a good bang for the bike and all around performer. Any input before I pull the trigger tmrw is appreciated
No ones gonna rake you for this.. I’m actually surprised that you’re paying 500/month is that policy paid over 6 months? Cause that makes a bit more sense.. mine is over 6 months and they sell it as a benefit. Stupid imo, id rather pay over 12 months. Especially for the ZX6R that one is pricey...

ouch mad mike I feel for this poor bike as much as you but everyone learns somewhere. If I listed off the costs I’ve incurred for all my mistakes I could almost afford a 10 year old harley ?
Fill coolant through radiator cap or radiator filler neck whichever the bike has, massage coolant hoses to get any air out. Fill reservoir to low level. Run bike for a bit let the fans cycle on and off a few times, let the thermostat kick in. Let bike cool off fill radiator bleed at coolant...
You could also sell it as a non runner for parts. Pretty hard to guess online what’s going on. Yea clutch plates you can sometimes unstick them by rocking them but if it were my bike I’d go manual inspect the plates if they are good still soak them in a little oil and then reassemble replace the...
I would want to know the engine spins freely by hand turning before trying to start it anymore. Turn the engine over a few times by the crankshaft first just to be safe
OP - I hate to say it but - I think you’re going to sink a small fortune into a repair shop, there are some nice low km sv’s on the market. Here is a really nice back up plan if the transmission has issues. Tires look great low kms I’d snag this in a second...
In his post he mentions the idle was jumping up and down before jumping it with his car running though.
EDIT nevermind I misread seems like he did it twice
I would also add - Oshawa cycle salvage, zdeno cycle, woodys cycle salvage etc would probably all have salvage sv650s for parts. Quicker than ordering online during this time. They are all doing parts pickups by appointment still. Support the local salvage yards
