I'm convinced that Ford has made some kind of deal with the Federal Liberals and they hatched some of these things together. That Spa is really, really dodgy.

You may be right as he seems to be actively trying to steer a win towards them but you don't need the federal libs to have corruption. Therme could be all on Doug and he was hoping for Carney to buy him more cottages in the future.

Here's the question that made me ask that one: why have the LPC and OLP not been howling about this publicly? They really haven't been. Their supporters sure have, but that's not the same thing.
LPC has bigger problems. Few people in ontario care what team corruption (the OLP) cares about.

My biggest take away on the story is why the heck is NY times investigating municipal contracts in Toronto?Ouch. NYT investigated Therme. It is a damning report of ineptitude or corruption.

That's a very reasonable position. Maybe the same team he had reviewing license plates that were invisible in the dark were also the team that couldn't determine that the huge multi-national spa they were partnering with had a market cap of under $1M?I hate this man lol

It's possible that Doug plans to take a run at it himself if PP doesn't win this round!?
My guess is Doug owns a piece through one of the private equity firms that backs the HVAC company that owns Therme.
Many called Bill Davis avuncular in the day...it fits...could use a doppelganger now.
