Does the online pre-screen try to catch all the rules or just flags plates already issued? Can't you do something like five options each application to shorten the loop?

Iirc it allowed me to check upto 3 possible available license plate names but I could only submit the request for one name..?
I'll need to recheck that again because I think you are correct.
Each time the web application permitted me to submit it but it then got rejected when someone reviewed the application prior to approval.
Looks like they are biased against l337 sp34k
