The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Fantastic deal. All the 500 series seem overpriced here - a CB300F sold for $5k on the local FB pages here. Jeez only 3,300 KM. Good deal for someone if real.

That's a pretty good deal - that kit would be well over $1000 from a GIVI dealer.

Schrodinger's Ape - both new and used at the same time (2022 Tuono V4 1100 dealer demo with 1000 kms, but full 2-yr warranty) for $16,500:

Ducati is going on sale this weekend. What are these ‘golden hour’ photos y’all are mentioning?

I want this thing sold.

Studio's got some crazy deals on brand new 2023 and 2024 old stock right now.

Aprilia does this from time to time with unsold models. I bought my 2018 Tuono in February 2019 for about $4k off sticker from International Motorsports in BC. Full warranty, mostly identical bike to a 2019 anyway. $16+ k for that bike is incredible value. That much gets you a much more basic Monster Plus on the Ducati side, or a Street Triple 765 from Triumph. The Triumph, at least, is an equivalently great bike, but it's in a different class to the Tuono...

And Studio is also far and away the best Aprilia dealer remaining in southern Ontario, so you're in good hands there as well...

Every year its worth less $...

If you wanted it gone, price it slightly under market value. Is an extra $1000 really worth it? Is it worth the headache?

I'm getting a headache hearing about it.

This is good advice. I sold my Tuono within 8 days in the fall because I looked at equivalents and undercut them by $500. Ended up selling for asking anyway, which is where a lot of those ads were likely looking to end up regardless. The bike was in excellent condition, and I was able to show that and demonstrate the good maintenance when the buyer came by.

Better photos help, but in the end, the price has to meet the market. Do I think my Tuono was worth more than what I sold it for? 100%, I think used Tuonos are some of the best bargains in motorcycling and it blows me away that competing models from other manufacturers sell for thousands more (though part of the cause for that is illustrated above with the deals Aprilia offers on non-current models, which I also took advantage of - I sold for only $2500 less than I paid new in 2019). But the value isn't decided by me, and if I look around and see similar bikes sitting at a slightly higher price, I have to expect the same if I'm going to ask the same.

In the end, if you're sitting with a bike you don't want and then can't get one you do want as a consequence, not selling is costing you more than money...
