Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Maybe a professional comedian built it.
It's obvious the owner has never ridden the thing... studded rear tire with no studded front tire tire means it WILL NOT steer. It will follow the direction of the rear.

Never let sound logic and reason get in the way of something that could kill you.

Says sold though.

Old dirt bikes seem to hit a price floor and stay there. Obviously not $11k, but somebody figured it out.

Caught this post on Kijiji this morning. 2018 Honda CBR1000RR SP with 50 kms on the odometer. Seller is asking $34,000.00.
The older CBR1000s are nice but I'm not sure who would spend this kind of money for an '18. But my first thought, bike has been sitting for ~6 years and will need all the fluids replaced, new tires and guessing a new battery despite that fact that owner says it's been on a trickle charger. The chain will probably be stiff and need lubrication. I wonder about the fuel tank, if it's been sitting empty for 6 years or filled-up with fuel/stabilizer and replaced periodically. If I was in the market for one of these I would opt for one that's actually been ridden.

I noticed that one before. At least it seems nice... why are the throttle cables sticking so far out front though. Otherwise, it has to be someone that doesn't actually want to sell it

Lower than stock handle bars with stock length throttle cables.
The silver with blue graphics version had a nicer more understated look IMO.
