Toronto to waste +6 Mill Renaming Dundas street.

They can name the square whatever they want and spend however much they want, I'll still be avoiding the place like the plague and I don't pay taxes in Toronto so I really don't care

And did you hear her quote? Paraphrased, " Don't worry, no taxpayer dollars are being spent on this. We are using 350k of section 37 money that developers pay and the rest comes from the square and donations". Wtf. You have a huge deficit and pretend that paying out of a separate account means the money doesn't count? As for "developers paid", that is as obtuse as a government paying. The money came from the consumers and flowed through an intermediary.

Don't you remember Wynn's energy plan? The shell game of borrowing money from one area of government at interest and them servicing the debt from another area of government.


Still pay that one off.
