Oh crap. Hopefully insurance is dealing with this. They have been in the news before and not for upstanding customer service. They seem to be a shining star of tow/repair industry greasiness. Tow/storage bill is probably pushing $1500 at this point and climbing fast.
Good condition 2008 Honda cbr 125, some fearings are cracked and super glued, they are secure and don’t fall off. The bike was dropped once by previous owner. Just got the oil changed. Bike runs good with no issues. Amazing fun little first bike to learn the basics on.

18,000 km on it, which to me looks like it's actually been ridden !

It *does* look to be in very good shape.
I'm more interested in these two than the "dropped / broken clutch lever / needs a rear tire cb125

"If you are buying a used vehicle, you will need to register the vehicle within 6 days of the sale at a ServiceOntario centre"
Or what ?
The sale is cancelled ?
How does the ownership paper transfer work ?
Do I and the seller need to both go to the MTO ?
Or can he give me the necessary papers, and I will go to MTO within 6 days ?

The $1500 bike is the better deal. Offer $1300 and off you go.
You should register the bike in your name within 6 days. That will give you time to get the safety to get it plated.
Seller gives you a UVIP, registration for vehicle when you hand them cash. You go get safety afterwards, and get insurance during this time.
Take all 3 items to Service Ontario, pay your registration and tax to the govt, and you get a shiny new plate for your bike.
I got lucky with my current bike as owner did safety and sold within the 36 day period so I just used her safety on the bike when I registered it. They weren’t thrilled….but they allowed on it.

the lady that sold me her bike did a safety, felt the bike wasn't for her, and sold it to me within 30 days of doing her safety. As I still had a valid safety I just took her safety with me, and SO honoured it.
Once a safety is issued, it is valid for 36 days. If that clock runs out, you'd need a new safety to transfer ownership as a fit bike. That is why very few bikes are posted for sale with a safety. Some sellers are willing to get the paperwork done after you have agreed to purchase.

They "honoured" it? This is a new low for SO. It's good for 36 days, period! There's nothing that says (and no possible reason) it becomes invalid just because it's sold.
@mstram Make sure whichever seller you decide on has the UVIP, unless they want to give you the VIN and you want to waste time and money at Service Ontario to get it yourself. The seller actually has the legal responsibility to provide it to the buyer, so you can remind them.
The UVIP is not only used as your bill of sale, but also contains important information about liens or branding which could impact your decision to buy. If you intend to plate it, you do not want to see any liens or branding. Any branding other than NONE on a motorcycle means it can't be plated in Ontario.

Yes and no...however...SO takes one of the copies (white), which I didn't have as the seller had already it. So they took the other copy, and I got a photocopy instead of the yellow version.

Ah, good point. Still, the inspection is technically valid until expired, and SO needs to account for these fringe cases when ballers are changing bikes like underwear.

LOL.

This one's maybe a bit on the high price side ($2300 / 2008 11000 km) but "reasonable"

Seems like a bunch of 125's are showing up, just when I'm ready to buy !
Maybe I missed it but is there a specific reason you are only looking at 125's? Can't imagine it is a massive difference in insurance cost and you get a much more versatile bike.

Another @MacDoc post with no relevance. By not using the quote feature, the post has no context. Who are you replying to? What are you referring to? I have no idea. I'm not going to scroll up and reread numerous posts to figure it out.
