is that front tire fat enough, or is it suppose to float on water?

For all the Harley bashing that goes on here and elsewhere - I like the looks of their bikes.

Not sure what the price is of that adv bike, but I like it!

Ya, if all else fails, fall back on the look, nobody can fault the eye of the beholder.

It's pretty obvious their air cooled engines survived another year of emissions . No Need to introduce a new engine . Rather then introducing a new engine before they are forced to they delay it . They wonder why people are going to Indian .

They're following the Honda strategy. They believe that their customers will not cross-shop against any other brand and they can make whatever they want and charge whatever they want with little effect on their sales. I don't think that is the best approach but it has worked for Honda and HD for decades.

Honda at least is engineering driven. They try things, see what sticks and lose what doesn't (think DN-01). H-D just keeps upgrading the same old, same old.

I was more thinking Honda cars than bikes. They have an interesting model or two, the rest are just meh and the sales people will look at you like an idiot if you say you are looking at any non-Honda purchase. Bikes they seem to take more chances with and I have a lot more respect for their bike division.

Imo its the same for honda bikes(as well as the rest of the japanese), can we please for the love of god stop using the same rehashed reworked inline 4 cyl on all their supposed 'new bikes'?

Yamaha tried something new, and made an exciting twin and triple and they cant stop selling them!

The Africa Twin, 300 singles and 500 twins are inline fours ? I'd never noticed !

Part of the appeal to HD's is that they are rather simple, less gizmo's. They have addressed alot of other issues with the Rushmore body updated and now with the M8 engine, sure they retain the same looks, but some like that. I think if they want to improve the rest it will be through new models of bikes instead of revamping tried an true. The Goldwing only had a serious update more recently otherwise it was the same bike for a long time.

I'd take an inline-4 over anything Yamaha makes. The inline-4 is almost the perfect design of engine when air-cooled. The liquid cooled inline-4s are exceptional performers, but since liquid cooled the inline idea is not necessary. They could just as easily produce a box 4 if liquid cooled and save space. All of Honda's engines beat all of the competition all things considered.

LOL! I actually like that design. Great in the city. Fat front tire is the latest in street styling. The forward pegs look a little awkward though. It was just a concept, never made it anywhere.
