2017 Observations while riding

Saw/rode down Don Mills/DVP for a stretch with her, those signals are nearly impossible to see from 5 ft away. At least she knows it and tries to indicate with her hand where possible.

A bad start to the Thursday before the long weekend. Looks like the front-left of the Caravan impacted the guardrail (not shown) and the Mercedes GLK and Corolla were somehow involved. No airbag deployment and it was much before I got there so they didn't look like they needed help.
KTM Sumo 950? Looks like a nice riding suit for this 3C ride to work this morning. I was warm enough in my JR Alter Ego - didn't need to turn on the heated vest...

Spare tires?
With the DVP closed today, decided to take the wheels down to FSMC on the Harley. Getting some fresh rubber for the Bethany ride tomorrow.
Everyone's in a good mood this morning. Wave #1 from a cop -
Wave #2 and a big smile from a lollipop lady -
Out for a run -
A line-up down the block for the Batemans Bicycle Shop annual bike swap -
Spare tires?

Monday 24th
Tweaked a few parts on the DR650 on yesterday’s ODSC Bethany ride. The D606s were awesome.
Co-incicidentally, met up with a guy with a same grey DR650 on Don Mills. He has the full ADV trim though including a bead rider.

This BMW i8 has a green plate, church sticker (tax exemption?), and a disabled pass on the dash allowing free parking outside of the spots. Can you get any more exemptions?
The spring footwear fashion is all over the map -

And open-toe high-heel boots

Headlight, 2 aux lamps, lollipop amber turn signals, amber led fender tip light. and a bright blue helmet. And a driver still pulls out in front of me. Should I get a flashing bicycle lamp?

Met up with a Suzuki Boulevard rider
Black helmet, black jacket - not easy to see you in the fog. Stopped too close to the SUV, no escape path if comes up behind you too fast...
