FZ6/options for "new" bike

So it seems like the PR3 or 4 are the way to go but the BT023/30 are not that bad of a tire. The front was replaced just over a year ago and has lots of tread left so I will probably just replace the back cause I'm.. running out of funds lol

Congrats on buying the FZ6, you won't be disappointing by it. I have an S2 FZ6 and in the 2.5 seasons of owning it, I've put 32,000km (odo@75,000km right now) which includes a 12,000km trip to California and back.

Things I've done to the bike that made it perfects are:
1) Exhaust (I got a Leo Vince) you have to buy one!
2) FZ1 bar, better wrist angle than the FZ6 handle bar
3) Top Sellerie Seat
4) Piug Windscreen, helps if you do hwy miles

Wow! You really riding.
Send that pic to Yamaha to use in their brochures...you might get paid for it.

get the fz6. I did for a few years and it's a fantastic bike. As mentioned the newer fz6r is a downgrade. My fz6 was stone cold reliable. Sold it for more than I paid for it. I put progressive front springs on it and grip warmers as well as bar risers. Fantastic bike....still miss it. Great fz6 forum on the net as well. Don't go bigger just cause your insurance will be the same....there is alot to be said about 600 cc bikes.

Brochure for what? They stopped making this bike in 2009. It's an old model now.
