So I turned 25 and insurance has given me a break! I have put 5000km on my ninja300 over the past year and love it. Due to timing of pending tickets I am looking for something bigger to lsat me the next two years. If you want to say dont move up or anything post some where else
I love the ninja and how nimble it is and the riding position. The power has been perfect for my street riding, a little lacking on the highway but in the curves with my buddies and there 600's they are not pulling away from me. What I dont like is the seat.. hurts my butt and I've been doing a bit of two up riding and you really notice the difference.
Everyone is saying get a 600rr.. although I feel I am responsible enough with it, I do not plan to do track days now, I enjoy long rides and comfort to me is more important then going 300km ripping down the highway.
I am looking at the FZ6 or the ninja650 as a option. I have 4-6k to spend and my insurance guy said i can get anything up to 1000cc and be similar priced.
I got to test ride it the FZ6 and enjoyed it allot aside from the vibrating mirrors on the highway. It screams like the 300 and I like it. The cbr500.. I prefer the 300. I am just looking for other options, potentially something a little newer that fits in the same category as this. Twisty roads, highway driving, comfortable, and a bit of 2 up.
Thanks!!
