Maybe somebody could spin that in a way to get Republicans behind public health care instead of trying to stamp it out
Republicans helped established the model of out-sourcing US jobs. They have no real interest in the poor saps that vote for them.

OMG, I hope they dont start leaking oil
Maybe they realize
That people assume its "All American" but no one really asks about it. So they figure they can still keep that "All American" image , still charge a fortune for their bikes, and outsource most of their manufacturing/build, making them more profits than they ever had!
Ah the business world is a breath of fresh air....*cough* *cough* *choke* *cough*
ok, but on the other hand, do motorcycles really need to be assembled by CAW workers costing >$100K a year with benefits? It's a torque wrench, not a scalpel.
Righty-tighty, lefty loosy, end of training.

Don't you mean UAW? Let's get our Countries straight now.![]()
Harley was owned by AMF Italy for a while in the 70s, Harley style and Italian reliability.
Lulz. Lots of Harley bashing going on these days. Can't really figure it out. I think it was justified back in the 1970s, but not so much today.
Agreed!! You mention Harley on this site, and it gets flamed. Meanwhile I see much higher milage on Harleys, than on any other brand motorcycle.
AMF "Italy"? The A in AMF stands for American, as in American Machine and Foundry, not Aremacchi which AMF bought during their HD ownership years. And the horrible dependability issues of AMF Shovel Harleys had nothing to due with Aermacchi, which won world championships for HD, or pre-AMF Harley, but good old fashioned American greed as AMF sucked every last cent they could out of HD, ran it to the ground, by cutting back on quality control costs with no reinvesting of profits or R&D. Once they were bought out by a group of long time HD of employees, including Willie G, the quality and fortunes of HD turned around with the Evo.
You need to lose your bigoted cultural views and learn a little something about motorcycles before you spout off at the mouth like that and embarrass yourself again.

LOL. No.
look, there are motorcyclists, and Harley customers. Each group is distinct, and wants nothing to do with the other.
Harley could get interesting in the next 5 years as they are very aware that their target demographic is dying off.
