What is your fav carb'd bike?(anti-nanny assisted bike lovers thread)

2010 ktm exc530, that bike is living proof that carbs do work. That carb was so well set up for that bike/engine. Other older favorite? Hands down 1985 yamaha fz750. I was 18 and felt like god on that bike...:D

My '89 RZ350 & '91 750 Zephyr are two that stand out with nothing but fond memories among the dozens I've owned.

My 2000 Yamaha R1, owned it from new until last year before I defected to a Suzuki GSXR. 14 years of trouble free excitement and thrills, I hope the Suzuki can continue with the reliability I have had with Yamaha.

Rz500 I bought on my 16 birthday was fun. But three months later bought an rg500 it was the bomb. Pipes, minor motor work and 5th gear power wheelies:). Liked it so much I bought 4 more.

Last year for a carbed gsxr

The last carb'd bike I owned looked a lot like this:

I've been out of the game way too long though. The next bike after that was an injected 2014 CBR500R :)

I've still got a 79 RM125. That things fast with no suspension or brakes.

Nice. Mine was a 1980. I think it was ~27HP or so. Pretty good power for a bike weighing 195-lbs. The following year they went to the "full floater" rear suspension and water cooling. I remember lusting so badly after those...

+1 for first gen R1.
My favorite has to be my 98 R1 and my second favorite was my old 79 CX500- the one photographed here with my R1 is a 1980 CX500 though
