These thieves aren't small-time criminals, this is organized crime (mafia) that hires professional thieves. Big $ is shipping SS bikes overseas.
The van idea is the most doable. Condo can't fault you for having a van. Tint the windows, out of sight, out if mind. A few motion sensors off Amazon for $10 with remote / pager and you're set.
A lot of this problem stems to laziness of new bike owners. As written here, what do you expect to happen if you leave your wallet on the bar? At least get yourself a Bully Alarm for $100 and hide it under the cover. They will have no chance to cut it as it will page you as soon as your motorcycle cover is moved...it will set off a warning squeal to the thief and page you. Call 911 while running to your bike in case they are waiting to roll you.

I wouldn't even tint the windows... I would make sure the van has one of those partitions so you could not see what is in the back from the front window anyway. The back would have no windows aside from the rears, and those could just be painted black. Label the van 'Mike's Poisonness Snakes' or 'Fred's Australian Spiders' or something less ridiculous but unwanted (i.e. not plumber, electrical, or mechanical due to copper and tools).

Do you own or rent Btw? That is would you even have a say with the board if you did try and change something? The parking garage is a commonly owned space, therefore sometimes the owners can band together and get some stuff changed. However as an owner I still wouldn't vote for the idea of patio stones or drilling into the concrete slab.
If someone is watching, they may know where the bike is parked and they could still steal the van... I wouldn't call myself lazy. Had I known this was an issue, I would have taken greater measures.
I am thinking this would be a great conversation for insurance companies to have with their new clients. The greatest preventative measure is the knowledge to begin with... I will advise my agent of this.
I don't dismiss fault on my own, trust me.., but I am disappointed to be made so bluntly aware that their really is no security in condos... I would like to strap a gopro on one of these security guards to see what they do all night.
The management office in my building are just as lazy. They had the ignorance to tell me this evening that collecting the video surveillance would be my responsibility and I would need to contact the security surveillance company on my own to request the video footage, which I would then have to pay $300 for... lol
I called the surveillance company and they advised me otherwise, I would not have to pay, but the request would have to come from building management.
It is clear the management office have no idea what they are doing, don't care (potentially because I am not an owner) or are in on the bike scams themselves.
Security patrols, cameras and gates oh my! What is the point. Do you think city tv would be interested in a story?
As for these pagers. Do they work equally as well in underground parking spots?? Thanks for the link - I appreciate it!

I don't think they would vote for it either. I like the ealier post to that..."explain to the board that the vandals/ thieves did it" I could sell that!

nope, but if you made it known to other residents of the condo not to expect any help in security issues or that security is lacking, you may get someone to take notice and pull finger.

You are making a mistake in thinking anyone cares. What do you think keeps insurance companies in business? Theft! Sorry if it seems harsh, but you are looking around for blame when you left your wallet on the bar! We are responsible for our own possessions! It's a ludicrous idea to park a brand new SS bike in any underground not armed to the teeth. Just remember "no one cares" ...not the city, not the police, not the condo management, not the media, and most def not your insurance company or any insurance company! Visualize that your bike is uninsured as you leave it and you (as well as other condo dwellers) will smarten up and secure your bikes.

Do cars get stolen a lot from underground garages too? There's tons of fancy rides parked next to these bikes, you'd think thieves would go after the high-dollar Porsches/AMG Mercs/Range Rovers before bothering with supersport bikes.

errr.. . With a motorcycle you just pick it up and put it in a van.. and off you go..
a car needs to ignition to be jacked etc. Harder to hide, especially if its high end.. people will notice it. A mini van, well mate, just just blends into the GTA traffic. Alls good. Oh, and if theres an alarm going off on the bike, the boys in the back take care of it with a hammer. Theives are not going to worry about the plastics when they load the bike.
Lots of videos posted here over the years showing them loading the bikes into astro vans, trailers etc

No one gives a crap what people are doing in an underground garage, nor do they know who owns what, unless it's your immediate neighbour in the garage.

Simple, easier to catch a porsche on the street than a bike in the back of a van.
They do get stolen though... there is a big export market for stolen cars (it just doesn't happen like Gone in 60 seconds). Countries in the Middle East / Far east for example aren't very apt at checking VIN #'s etc.
In speaking with the <former> owner of a Ferrari 355 stolen not-so-long ago, it was a big ordeal to settle with the insurance company on everything from the value of the car, to the fact that it was even legitimately stolen.
