June 7th TMP, Roll call

The girl that crashed with the antifreeze she was riding a honda cbr. Also she was drinking all day after she crashed and was riding her friends blue ninja 300 around the pits with no helmet and she managed to scrap the concreate wall and metal rails with the bike. Also her group also had a pit bike that they screwed around on and drove into another racers track bike and knocked it off its stands

I was right behind the rider who crashed in the first Novice session, and I believe it was on the second lap. Far be it for me to advise on technique, but it just seemed like the rider was pushing it very hard in the corners, I thought to myself 'this is only a matter of time'. The lowside then occured in turn #6. As they slid off the track I was able to avoid it comfortably, but I can't comment on seeing any fluids coming out on impact.

i might email TMP to get some money back for this.

I wouldn't be all that upset, but the fact that i paid full price $165 for the day ticks me off a bit

Since we're on the topic of crashes at TMP....I heard there was footage of my highside coming onto the front straight (Intermediate -- 2nd session). Anyone have it?
Definitely a lesson learned and not something I want to repeat. But apparently my day ended early enough that I didn't have to endure the rest of the craziness.

Love the blood/'fell into a blender' addition at the very end.
I always thought that was mud from the splash made by the bike and the dude

was she hot ?

I started off in the novice group being my first time at tmp. I was on the session the girl fell, but from what I saw, her bike was laying maybe 20 feet into the grass. If she lowsided, I doubt any fluid leaked out until the bike was there laying (from the overflow tank I presume). Any fluid leaked would have stayed ON the grass.

Maybe that turn had crap on it before we came? Than as we got fast after the first session, the low traction in turn 6 was apparent.

Dave assured us they checked before even the first session. Not saying who it was because I have no idea but I think it came from one of the riders. After the 2nd crash at the same place tmp should of taken care of it. IMO the third+ crashes were on them

When they brought her bike into the pits on my neighbours trailer the main/large rad hose wasn't even connected to the radiator. I assume that the hose let go, dumped coolant onto the track/back tire and she slid it out into the grass. That's why the coolant spill was so huge, all over the middle of the corner (not right at the apex) and on the outside exit.

My god... And she was on my group (Beginner).

I could only imagine the possibilities at the track...

Keep us posted if you get anything from them...

I'm guessing TMP won't do a thing unless there is a mass action. They're always short on money, so the only way to make them listen is to hit their pocketbook by everyone what was there on June 7 not ever going again until they do at least a partial refund.

Also she was drinking all day after she crashed

That's crazy. Any track days I've done had a clear no drinking alcohol until the day is done, not until your day is done. Heck I visited Ric at a DOCC day at mosport, he (graciously) wanted to offer me a beer but I fully understood the rules since sessions were still ongoing.

Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt
