Motogp 2013

Woooow.

I know that, I follow all the free practices and all. But if he was only a mere 1 second away from the winner! I understand if he finished last or was at least behind the other big guys, instead he fought and fought, he just didn't cut it this time. You can't blame 1 second for a whole race on some excruciating pain you had.. But IMO that's not even the problem. I just think he could have made a good gesture and forgot his enormous ego for a moment, and just gave it up for the winner, instead of saying a faint "congratulations to the winner" clearly between his teeth. He just made a very bad impression to me as a person, that's all. At the track he's no doubt very talented, definitely spiced things up and he has a chance to become an even bigger name. If he loses some of the arrogance and takes it easy off the track, I guess I could see Simo in him..

To be fair he's admitted on several occasions that Rossi is his hero, and even has a poster of him on his wall. Im sure he gave him a proper congratulations when they pulled into the pits or on the podium.

your opinions on racing are such a joke. Cal commented on what stopped him from being at the front also, i guess he's a dick too? Did you see marquez and rossi chatting right after marquez's comment? Clearly you care more then rossi did, just stupid.

Insane race though. Lorenzo's still a twat but seeing how much pain he was post race, that was almost hard to watch. For what he lacks in media skills the guy clearly isn't there just for the money, he wants to be the undisputed best at all costs.

Rossi looked amazing too! First time i've seen him be able to stick that yamaha on lines that no one else could run since his return to yamaha. Truly the mark of a veteran saving his tires and maintaining a close gap through the middle of the race before clearing off at the end.

Of course I saw the chatting between the two right after the comment. Body language and the whole approach of Rossi pointing the finger and asking about it---just reconfirmed my opinion, it was a natural reaction for him to do given to what the comment was. But yeah, calling me stupid for expressing an opinion, i'm not gonna comment on that.

So has Rossi found something? For the first time this season, he had the fastest lap of the race.

Yes.

They talked about it in the Euro Sport coverage. His team made some big changes in the forks at Aragon and Catalunya testing to give the feel that Val wants. It seems they have figured it out.

Cal was commenting on how his bike setup compares to Rossi's and Lorenzo's. He said that his front and rear are level, Lorenzo's is higher in the front, and Rossi's front is lower. Apparently that was part of the setting they found. Whatever it is that they found, it seems to have worked.

Brilliant race.

I jumped from the sofa when vale made that pass... I'm really happy with the results.

Landed on his left shoulder and bent the plate.

He still posted the fasted time in the first practice 1:22.047

So disappointing Lorenzo won't be racing. I'm hoping Rossi can keep a Yamaha in the running, throw some blue up front.
