Shady sellers and time wasters

hi EC2010,

as the ad mentioned, the biked was tipped over. not quite sure the definition of drop but one of my friends said "drop" was if it was moving. if the definition of dropped is it fell, even when it was just standing, then yes it was dropped.

wanted to be completely straight up, ergo the really close up shot of the crack.

The bike was definitely tipped over, causing the light to go into the fairing if it helps. though the ad does mention that.

Thanks for clearing that up. my friend is in search of a 250 and all other specs appeal to him. He just have to settle on a budget figure and possibly be in touch with you soon.

No prob! you're lookin out for your friend. If it gives him peace of mind, as the post mentioned, its been seen by two mechanics who have fairly good reputations on GTAM.
Also, right after the tip happened, I posted on GTAM advice as to if I should bother repairing the plastic. Should be in my post history.
When Kneedragger picked up my bike for winter storage, I asked him to look the bike to ensured everything was OK (rode fine but I'm no pro with frames and such) and I also got the 1000k service from Adrian from Ace...both said damage was superficial on plastic, though the paint on knob part of the hand brake was scratched a little. I replaced the mirror because it cracked. Mirror that was installed was OEM from burlington cycle.

Good luck to your friend even if its not mine he buys!
