No doubt about Galfer, but where do OEM rotors come from???
There have been complaints about frame welds and rust since Kawi moved production of those bikes to Thailand. Just an example of how it MAY not be top notch (not saying they aren't, just that they might be).For Supersports probably Japan. For Ninja 250/300/650, the CBR 125/250 just about everything comes from Thailand...then again their factory quality control is probably top notch. I'm seriously considering picking up the $45 Arashi chinese rotor though, those guys look legit. For how little I use my rear brake no way I'm forking over hundreds of dollars...

The complaints were based on comparisons to the same model which also had steel frames. Also a steel frame doesn't mean the welds have to look crappy, especially when they didn't on the previous year's model.Off the top of my head I'd say its more due to all those bikes using basic steel frames vs. aluminum in higher end supersports, I could be wrong though.
How sure are you that the OEMs don't come from China? Even Audi and BMW are loaded with parts from China.I don't think I would be putting braking components from China onto my bike.
