Helmets with built in sun visor?

OP said no modulars.
thank you.

found new AGV models S4SV and AGV Stealth both have what im looking for. less weight, full face and integerated sunvisor. BUT no authorized dealer locally as far as i can find.
If/when Yamaha dealers start to carry Shark, my only option would be that. my old helmet is still good. so not in any hurry.

I used to have an HJC but dumped it as I found, more than anything, that air flow was greatly constricted due to the large piece of plastic in the helmet. It was more of a novelty than something I actually used. I have sensitive eyes, and found that I needed sunglasses when I got off the bike too, so what was the point of not wearing them while on?

I replaced it with a RF-1100 Shoei, and never looked back.

i also do need sunglasses when im off the bike, but putting sunglasses in and out the helmet is a pain..

thank you.

There's only one listed AVG dealer in the country:

MONETTE SPORTS & DUCATI MONTREAL
LAVAL H7G 2T7
251 Boulevard des Laurentides
Tel: (450) 668-6466

thank you.

Pretty sure Riders Choice in Mississauga has AGVs on their wall.

My second helmet is an AGV; I had Kahuna order it for me a few years back (no issues with the ordering process). My brother-in-law also ordered a few AGVs through them as well (i.e. the ones you can't get in North American stores).

They are listed on their site.

Thank you, was feeling too lazy to look and gambled I wasn't overly drunk when I walked into Riders and thought I saw AGVs...

:D

The Scorpion EXO 500 was mentioned already. But, if you have a wide head like mine, that one fit awesome.

I ended up paying more for a much lighter helmet though (Suomi Apex). The sun visor would have been nice however.

So your only option would appear to be a call (or trip) to Monette, if you have your heart set on them.
ehh. not really. never tried them on so dont know much about them. have a Shark hlemet now. know my sizing in them. could just order that online. or wait for Yamaha dealers.

I was at Kahuna last week. they have Joe rocket w built in visor. real nice.

I bought the Joe Rocket 1500 hivis (can you see me now?

) with a visor a couple of weeks ago. The helmet itself is a lot quieter than the Gmax I had before (which some dumbass

in a van t-boned me and destroyed my bike and helmet) . It's full face (not modular) and I love the flip down visor while riding.

shark has integrated visors in their lids. I have one here in oz, and it is a great lid. although the shoei's i've had in the past have been more comfortable.

Just got an email from Shark saying that Yamaha Canada will be the new distributor for their helmets and stock of the Evoline S3 should be in store by June.
Quote, "yes, yamaha canada is the distributor and inventory will arrive in junethx"

Right on. That's good to know. I have a friend that is having a bit of trouble picking up a replacement visor for his Shark. I'll let him know. ;)
