Helmets with built in sun visor?

Rider's carries them. My friend bought one from them at the show. Built in bluetooth as well.

Bluetooth is supposed to be an option, not standard, just as with the C3 modular.

Any idea how much it cost him? After seeing how much thought and work went into the C3's design, and having worn one for a year, I'm a big proponent of Schuberth. I would seriously consider picking up a full-face, for daily use, and put my modular to touring duty.

I have the HJC IS-16 but I don't wear it too much any more. I found the visor wasn't dark enough and since I wear glasses anyway, using my sunglasses seems like a better option.

Comfortable helmet though.

What's clearance like with the internal sun visor? I wear glasses and not sure how fit would be?

I have a Shark Evoline 2, which although I like, I'm convinced the built in visor will cut my nose off if I'm involved in a wreck. Its handy to have when I don't have sunglasses with me, but once the novelty of it wore off I started having concerns with how and where the visors sits.

For me, it isn't a novelty. I rode with sunglasses, for years, but switched to tinted visors because the glasses always annoyed me. I also eventually hit a point at which the sun starts rising right into my eyes, on my way in to work, so a clear visor isn't really an option. I used to leave my house in the dark, wearing a dark smoke visor. Not the safest thing in the world, is it? The inner visor does the trick beautifully.

I believe the price is around 700$ for the S2

thanks all for the suggestions.
summary..
Schuberth --too expensive for me.
HJC IS-16 -- too noisy from alot of reviews online. only 1653g though..
Scorpion EXO 1000, 1100 -- too heavy. Exo1000 approx. 1821g and Exo1100 approx. 1701g. Used to own a Scorpion 700 which was approx. 1733g. found it too heavy.
Scorpion EXO 500 is at approx. 1662g. my current helmet is 1600g. If i have a choice i want to go lighter than that. From my previous experience with Scorpion, there helmets "look" a little bigger than other companies. sort of like a bobble head
Shark S700s, S900c --same weight for both approx. 1565g to 1600g. only difference i could find in these is that S900c has better upgraded vents for this year and the air fit in the cheek pads system.

1st choice - S900c
2nd choice - S700s
3rd choice - Scorpion Exo 500

im still not sure where to put the HJC IS-16. It is the most cheapest and not much heavier than my current helmet. Alot of people like them. but in all comparisons of IS-16 vs Exo 1000, people have recomended the Exo 1000 as a much better helmet.

The Shark is a nice helmet but I think there are no Canadian distributors anymore (correct me if I'm wrong) so you may find it difficult to get replacement parts like visors. Unless you order on-line of course.

I used to have an HJC but dumped it as I found, more than anything, that air flow was greatly constricted due to the large piece of plastic in the helmet. It was more of a novelty than something I actually used. I have sensitive eyes, and found that I needed sunglasses when I got off the bike too, so what was the point of not wearing them while on?

I replaced it with a RF-1100 Shoei, and never looked back.

Does anyone have any experience with Bluetooth helmets?
I have an Icon helmet and I find that over 100kmh it gets quite noisy going for long rides without ear plugs is unacceptable. If you wear ear plugs, can you still hear the speakers in the helmet?

If so, then that's around $100.00 less than the C3. That's doable.

Correction: $750.00 + tax with solids only available, unless pre-ordered. That's about what their current "club price" is for the C3.

*EDIT* $30.00 cheaper at Oakville Yamaha.

Just got an email from Shark saying that Yamaha Canada will be the new distributor for their helmets and stock of the Evoline S3 should be in store by June.
Quote, "yes, yamaha canada is the distributor and inventory will arrive in junethx"

The IS-16 is a pretty decent helmet, I wear one and find it comfortable enough, and not too hot in all but +30C weather.
